   This is a great metal-cutting blade for any circular saw. I used it to cut sheet metal for a pole barn I am building, and this blade (in combination with my Milwaukee cordless circular saw) was definitely up for the job. It cut through the sheet metal with ease, and left a nice clean edge on the sheets of steel. As with any metal-cutting job, make sure to wear gloves and eye protection, because this blade produces a lot of hot shavings (as expected). Also be careful to not throw away the arbor adapter that comes with the blade. The 20mm arbor hole was too large for my saw, so I had to dig through the trash to find the clear arbor adapter that was included.

   I must confess while I have used a circular saw to build my garage storage shelves, I don’t know much about the different size blades that are available. When I ordered this 6-7/8 inch blade, I expected it to fit what I considered a normal sized consumer saw, I was wrong. After going through three different brands of saws, including a cordless, I had no luck mounting the blade. As my neighbor mentioned it doesn’t say on the packaging what type of saw you need for this blade. The packaging does say 6-7/8 inch with an arbor (center opening) of 20 mm. We both thought it would replace a 7 inch blade. Maybe he and I are the only ones that think that way, I surely hope so.What I can tell you about the blade is that it comes in an easy to open blister pack. As it does not include any kind of tooth guard you’ll need this blister pack to store your blade. Despite being a 36 tooth blade the packaging claims it will cut plastic and fiberglass. Usually these material require a blade with 50 to 60 tooth. It includes 4 laser cut vibration slots, and the Colbalt infused tungsten carbide tip allows for cooler running. A close inspection of the blade reveals nicks and scratch marks behind most of the blade tips varying from almost non-existent to heavy. I would not expect this to have any impact on cutting but was surprised at the randomness of the markings. The packaging claims it is a metal cutting blade, but it is only stated on the back side that this blade is not recommended for stainless steel. It is also only on the back that it states for “use with cordless handheld saw”. Approved metals for cutting include aluminum, copper, brass and medium metal (1/8″ – 1/4″).Before purchasing, make sure you know exactly what blade size and arbor your circular saw accepts.

   The Milwaukee brand is absolutely wonderful. What an awesome blade! My husband wears the other brands out much more quickly than these. They seem to last so much longer and he says that they stay very sharp for a really long time.You can’t go wrong with this blade as it is exactly what is advertised. Strong, sharp and fits the saw perfectly!

   This is an excellent Milwaukee 6-7/8 in. Carbide Teeth Metal Cutting Circular Saw Blade for cutting steel, aluminum, strut, all thread, or angle iron. This carbide blade can cut medium thick material 1/16 to ¼ inch thick. It can be used with the Milwaukee cordless handheld circular saw. It has cobalt infused tungsten carbide teeth and laser cut vibration slots.

   Milwaukee 6-1/2 in. x 48 Carbide Teeth Metal Cutting Circular Saw Blade Love these tool replacements from them. I totally burnt up my last blade on my battery operated power saw on a previous job or two. Found this one which had multiple serious cutting teeth that actually fit on my saw. This is truly a universal blade and top quality as well. Makes short work of my cutting projects. Just make sure the circumference matches you saw dimensions and it bolts right up and ready for use.

   The Milwaukee 6 1/2 inch 48 carbide teeth metal cutting circular saw blade is well made and designed to get the job done. It is rated for cutting steel and aluminum in medium 1/16 to 3/16 thickness. I found it to adequate for the job and easy to work with. I especially liked the packaging that provides easy removal from the plastic sleeve and easy storage after use.

   I have used a few metal-cutting blades in the past, but this is one of the smoothest I have seen. As you can see from the pictures below, the faces of the cuts almost have a ‘polished’ appearance. The have a very smooth and clean look, with no secondary cleanup required. When welding the pieces, all I had to do was bevel the edge and I was ready to go.The blade has a 1″ arbor, which fits most metal-cutting saws It even fits my old Makita ‘grinder’ chop with no adapters required. You can go from throwing sparks all over your workshop to a clean, almost spark-free cut by just replacing the blade.I made about 20 cuts using light pressure, and each one turned out beautiful. I don’t know how long it will last, but I’m sold on it for sure.

   I discovered after I received this blade that it is rated for use with a saw having a maximum rotational speed of 2000 RPM. I had planned to mount it on my miter saw and to use it to cut 1/8” steel angle for a project I’ve started. Unfortunately, my saw has a no-load rotation speed of 3200 RPM, which exceeds the maximum recommended speed by 50%. I looked at the specs on several miter saws, both corded and battery powered, and all of them had rotational speeds in the 3000-4000 RPM range. And its diameter is too large for use on my table saw, which can be operated at speeds below 2000 RPM. I contacted Milwaukee customer support and I’m waiting to hear if they have a recommendation for a miter saw that can be used with the blade. §In the meantime, I can report that this is a beautifully crafted saw blade. The kerf is 3/32”. I appreciate that the product package can be used as protective storage for the blade when it’s not in use. §Professionally made in China.

    This is an awesome blade if you cut a lot of aluminum. I swapped it out on my table saw but don’t do a whole lot of cuts generally. It might make more sense on a shop saw in a metal shop.Blade is a steel reinforced blade and does make very nice clean cuts. If I could change anything about the product it’d be greener packaging, as it’s encased in the usual non recyclable plastic stuff that’s also hard to even cut the blade out of.

    Cuts 1/8” aluminum well, fits nicely on a Ryobi 7” brushless circular saw. My tools are Ryobi, with all my batteries, so I wanted this blade on my existing saw. The Ryobi has a smaller mounting hole than this saw blade, but luckily provides a beveled washer/arbor to accommodate different hole sizes. The blade cut both aluminum 1/8 sheet and 3/16” angle easily enough. I would recommend this for cutting at a job site or for oversized items that can’t easily fit into a bandsaw. Compared to my 10” cross-cut saw, this has a thinner kerf. My video shows how to change the blade on a Ryobi saw (many other brands operate the same way) and demonstrate an actual aluminum plate cut.

    The Milwaukee 7-1/4 inch metal blade is an absolute pleasure to use.I am mending some gutters that have become worn and was using a hack saw to cut the gutters.This metal cutting blade is a godsend. Slices through aluminun gutters like butter!I am using the Milwaukee metal blade in my Ridgid cordless circular saw and the blade leaves a very clean cut. Now I’m only cutting through thin metal right now, and so far I’m extremely pleased with the cut quality of the blade.This blade is rated to slice through angle iron and metal up to half an inch thick. Holy moly, can’t wait to use this blade on my other projects at the farm house! I’ll probably use it cut down some iron rods to shape a barn door stop rod I’ve been meaning to make for ages!I am very pleased with this blade.HIghly recommended.

    The Milwaukee 7-1/4 x 48 carbide teeth metal cutting circular saw blade with the 20 mm arbor required an arbor adapter to fit my Skilsaw. The saw and blade then made a very easy job of make angle cuts on the aluminum hand rail. Since the rail was to be used on steps ,I has to cut the ends to a particular angle. I had previously used a hack saw to cut the angles, but, it was difficult to securely hold the rail while cutting the aluminum. This blade amounted in a circular made the job extremely simple and more accurate, using only a simple clamp to hold the rail down.

    The Milwaukee 7 1/4 inch x 48 carbide teeth metal cutting circular saw blade with 20 mm arbor appears to be a heavy duty quality saw blade. My husband could not use it because of the 20 mm arbor. It doesn’t fit any of his Ryobi circular saws. He stated that if he had a grommet, he probably would have been able to use it. My suggestion is to pay attention to the arbor sizes when purchasing saw blades.
