   I tried this blade on an aluminum gutter downspout and on a piece of one inch thick plastic. It worked well on both applications. I had to use a hub spacer to compensate for the hole diameter of the blade. It was 1/8 inch larger than the hub on the saw I was using. Both cuts were quick and easy with good results. I did have burrs on the aluminum downspout but I used a soft wire wheel to clean up the cut. This blade definitely speeds up the cutting process when doing things like gutter installs or repairs. The plastic cut clean and smooth with minimal burr issues.

   This is a high-quality Milwaukee 5-7/8 in. x 50 Teeth Non-Ferrous Metal Cutting Circular Saw Blade for cutting aluminum, brass, copper, plastics, or fiberglass. This carbide blade can cut medium thick material 1/16 to ¼ inch thick. It can be used with the Milwaukee cordless handheld circular saw.    My husband freaked when he saw that I got him this blade for his saw. He’s been wanting it for a long time. The carbide tips on the blade make it perfect for cutting steel… So I am told! He said it cut cleanly with no metal burrs left behind soeso ha happy guy! Also he said this one is special since there’s no lubrication needed and the cuts stay cool.

   Great blade for thin metal, aluminum, copper, brass, and plastics. Okay for medium metal (1/8″ – 1/4″). My use will be primarily for plastics and it cut smoothly with no apparent heating, leading to a smooth edge. Fits my non-Milwaukee saw just fine and has absolutely no wobble or vibration, I guess the laser cut vibration slots assure that. The rear of the package has great information as to appropriate uses and features of the blade. Don’t let the light weight throw you off, the teeth are cobalt infused tungsten carbide which produces a superior cut and longer life.

   I needed to cut some aluminum shower door hardware as part of a bathroom upgrade. Due to the size of the pieces and type of cuts to be made, I used this blade in my 10-inch table saw. This blade is for a saw with a one-inch arbor – but since my saw has a 5/8-inch arbor I had to use a brass adaptor.This blade seems to be top quality. The carbide-tipped teeth have an alternate top bevel grind, and there are numerous laser cut vibration dampening slots to minimize heat buildup and noise. It is designed to cut without any water or oil lubrication, which eliminates the hassle and mess.This blade worked flawlessly on the parts I cut and produced a fairly smooth finish. I am very satisfied with the quality and performance of this blade.

   I own a lot of Milwaukee tools, and like the others, this one does not disappoint! I received this to cut through some aluminum for an outdoor project. I assumed it would work based on the Milwaukee name, but this was GREAT! It cuts through aluminum like butter! The blade did not “junk” up or anything with the cutting despite quite a bit of use on this project. The edges were very smooth following the cut. Save yourself the trouble and order this blade for your aluminum, cooper, and plastic projects. It is well worth it! Oh, as a bonus- the packaging of this blade is far better than others I have received!

   Once I finally “liberated” the MILWAUKEE CIRCULAR SAW BLADE from it excessive packaging, everything else was easy-peasy!The blade installed easily. Of course, I did install the blade backwards on my saw. Thank goodness for the arrows, huh?The blade cuts well. It replaces a Milwaukee 60-tooth blade, so I did notice cleaner cuts when I used it on wood and aluminum.

   This Milwaukee Metal Cutting Saw blade actually needed to list Non-Ferrous Blade in its listing. As for its cutting ability it is actually very good for aluminum, copper, brass, fiberglass and most plastics. For a 14-inch blade with a 1-inch arbor it will fit a chop miter saw or a powered cut-off saw. The cut-off saws now come in gas or battery powered units. If you are working in an aluminum fabrication shop this would be a must have because the cuts are that clean, needing no additional preparation to go to the TIG welder. The other materials are generally cut by miter saws only in pre-fab home construction on a demanding basis that would call for this blade. In my case using a blade like this with such a narrow material base does not compare. There are too many blades in this size range that will cut all of these materials PLUS ferrous metals (iron & steels), along with woods. The pictures below would have shown a complete comparison of the blade cuts; however, my neighbor took his Aluminum and Copper blocks that were cut back before I hand a chance to get the picture, due to a call back to work. The cuts were however, extremely clean for both saw blades. This blade is an excellent choice for the fabrication professionals who do not use wood or ferrous metals. For that reason and those areas only would you find this blade an excellent choice.

    I was attempting to cut plastic panels with the 40t ‘construction’ blade that came with my saw. I knew better from the start but it was worth the experiment. In the first few inches you could tell the edges were going to be rough and chipped and just not great. Fortunately this blade showed up shortly after and the difference was night and day. Quick, clean cuts. Much smoother edges. All around a great experience.  I’ll be really curious about aluminum or copper performance, but so far so good.

    Milwaukee 14 in. x 80 Carbide Teeth Metal Cutting Circular Saw Blade – Like most guys I cut aluminum on either a framing chop saw or a finishing compound mitersaw. Stuff like aluminum closet door track, angle iron for brackets, or aluminum railing. I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a blade dedicated to cutting aluminum, brass, copper and plastics to keep my finishing saw blade sharper and last longer.I mounted the new blade in an old metal cutting chop saw and it works great. It cuts aluminum and copper very cleanly with minimal deburring required. I’ve also cut white PVC trim-lumber and PVC electrical conduit with very good results.The packaging says it can cut thin steel (up to ¼”) but, I haven’t tried it yet.

It’s designed to work without a lubricant and reduce heat. It’s also designed to cut burr free.

    So I ordered this new blade for my metal cutting saw since it says “metal cutting circular saw blade” I use a heavy duty metal cutting blade for cutting STEEL. Glad I looked closely at the blade. Afraid to try it on steel so I used it for cutting a 1″ round stock aluminum rod. It cut nicely but I am just going to save it for the occasional cutting of soft metals. Milwaukee should re-name it ‘SOFT METAL CUTTING BLADE” I cut 100 pieces of steel for every aluminum or brass piece I cut. Nice blade, just not what I thought it was.

    Robust 80 Tooth, 12-inch metal and plastic cutting blade with a 5000 RPM limit (that’s high enough to use with a conventional wood working chop saw or miter saw). I used it in my 12-inch sliding compound miter saw to cut some 1/8″ aluminum bar stock and it did great. Very smooth cuts.1-inch arbor fit my saw perfectly. The package says it is recommended for thin metal (up to 3/32″) and medium metal (1/8″ to 1/4″) but NOT for thick metal (over 1/4″).It is NOT recommended for stainless steel, but the package says nothing about plain steel. Since it spins so fast, my feeling is it should not be used for plain steel either. Wish they would list that specifically on the package to avoid any confusion.It is recommended for Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Plastic and Fiberglass.Max RPM is 5000Arbor is 1″ (25.4 mm)

    The Milwaukee seven and a quarter inch (7 ¼”) by fifty-six (56) tooth carbide metal cutting circular saw blade is capable of cutting brass, aluminum, fiberglass, copper , vinyl, and any nonferrous metals up to a quarter inch (1/4”) (6.4 mm) thick. WEAR SAFETY GLASSES! as this does throw minute shavings. One note is that the cut material is not hot to the touch after cutting and no oil is required during cutting operation.

    I was extremely impressed by the quality of 12 inch circular saw blade. The cobalt infused tungsten carbide cutting tips cuts real well into almost any kind of metal, plastics and fiberglass. I use it to cut pvc piping and will probably last my lifetime. It also works extremely well on cutting fiberglass that I use on my shower wall. What makes this blade special is that there is no vibration because of the vibration slots placed strategically into the blade. I have one picture showing these holes with the use of a pencil. No need to worry about heat buildup because this blade cuts very cool. I got the blade with this many teeth because there are no/little burrs so I don’t have to bother with sanding. Excellent value if you use this type blade often.
