The twisted cable bundles tend to catch on a work piece, and can make the grinder jump around. You have to be very aware of the direction you are grinding to prevent an accident. I prefer a regular wire brush for this reason, and I also think it removes material faster. I will say, that this twisted brush seems to last a bit longer.

You can’t weld without a bare surface and this is how that is done. It quickly and easily removes the paint and gives us that shiny steel that we need to make a great weld. This is a powerful tool so wear safety gear and take it slow.

I’ve been using to strip rust off of an old trailer and wheels. The scotchbrite type worked great but didn’t last long at all. This wire wheel has held up really well. Not for tight/fine detail and you need to watch the rotation because it is aggressive and can grab on edges. Good product!

Pros: Very long use life, much longer than say a Radnor or a Blackstone alternative. Nice and sharp. Nicely presented.Cons: Sits a little high, or thick, off of my DeWalt grinders, and bristles are very very stiff. Also much much more expensive than a generic alternative.
