This little 4 in. twisted wire wheel works well. Needed something to prep metal for welding. Use with caution however, small pieces of the wire can break off and at 3500 to 4000 rpm can do some damage to you. Wear appropriate protective clothing. Absolutely no loose clothing.This is in no way a product defect. All wire wheels can do this. So far very satisfied with this product.

I had 4 steel wheels to do, 2 of which were so scaled and rusted from being under the truck and holding salt etc. thought they would never come clean. The brush with separate adapter needed to fit 4″ grinder worked fantastic. After plenty of time on 4 rims, then battery box in a Kubota tractor, then snow blower housing hardly any wear at all. GREAT but being small the seller should know it will be used on a 4″ grinder as such come with adapter sold separately. This along with the cup type wheel are a great pair allowing for a multitude of uses.

I use exclusively in welding applications. Rips slag / flux right off my working material. Great wire-wheel. Lasts a good bit longer than the competition as well plus it’s a simple screw-on, not requiring a lug to hold it in place on your grinder.
