The M18 and M12 Vehicle Charger allows users to charge battery packs on the go from the DC Outlet of any vehicle. It features REDLINK Intelligence that communicates directly with the battery to monitor cell voltage, temperature and charge status. This optimizes the performance and extends the life of the pack. The charger provides full system compatibility and accepts all M18 and M12 batteries.

The M18 and M12 Vehicle Charger was what I needed for some time. I have several Milwaukee M12 tools and needed some way to recharge the batteries when I was away from home. Bought this for charging batteries in the truck/camper on 12v when out camping. It works great so far. A little slower than 110 but not by much 🙂 Charger gets light use on batteries for running a fan, lantern and charger adapter when out camping.

I feel like a broken record with Milwaukee reviews, but the bottom line is they make quality products and want good products associated with their brand. I really didn’t see any difference in performance between this and the AC version, as both kept up with the battery’s max safe charges. Functionality is a little different, as these are smart enough to power down when not needed. I thought that I might have blown a fuse, because I couldn’t get lights to come one. But you only get lights when a battery is needing a charge and in the charger. This reduces the chance that leaving this connected will kill your truck battery.My only real problem with this is the price. It is a little salty, with comparison to the AC version. However, this, like most Milwaukee products, definitely fits into the buy once, cry once camp. As opposed to some cheaper systems that save you money at first, but you pay more for in the end with replacement or lower performance.
