I bought this specifically to charge the HD 12 batteries, which it charges in an hour vs over 4 hours! This is a must have charger if you are using the milwaukee M18 chainsaw(which is an awesome piece of equipment). You could either spend 1000$ on HD 12 batteries to get through a days work or buy this charger and use what you have!

I have a Milwaukee heated jacket with the M12 batteries. Problem is that the batteries on high heat only last 4 hours so I put a spare in the pouch to run the rest of the 8 hour day. Then it takes from 1-2 hours to charge each one in the charger that I got with the jacket. I put one of the batteries into the super charger and strolled by about a half hour later and it was charged so I put in the second battery and went back about 15 minutes later and it was charged. In about 45 minutes both the batteries were charged and ready to heat the jacket for a whole day.It says 1 hour charging, I am presuming that’s for the M18 batteries.

This M12 and M18 (12 volt / 18 volt) Lithium- Ion Multi – Voltage Super Charger Battery Charger is a BEAST! We completed a completely depleted M18 3.0 amp hour XC battery in just over 18 minutes and a M18 5.0 amp hour XC battery in under 45 minutes. Now, I do not have any larger batteries to test within my arsenal but, all M12 and M18 batteries made have charging time estimates that are easy to read included within the packaging. Now, this power does have a price…the size is nearly double the size of your standard M12 / M18 Multi – Voltage Charger. It also has a cooling fan some may take time to get use to. On a job site there will be no issue with the fan noise output. There is also a inline fuse which I personally like. Two thumbs up!

Charges an 8 amp hour battery in about 40minutes. Minimum downtime from charging the batteries, which is what I need at work. Has a cooling fan that works, it is about the noise level of a laptop fan. Kinda expensive, but it does charge Milwaukee batteries the quickest as advertised. It is bigger than the standard charger.

What a great product. This charger will charge an eighteen volt battery in a about 10 minutes or less. I’m truly impressed. Milwaukee as done it again. I haven’t tried the smaller twelve volt battery socket yet but if it’s as quick as the other you’ll be working in no time after putting it the charger. The super charger does have an internal fan to keep it cool during charging. Before you charge any Milwaulkee battery, make sure it’s completely discharged or at least to it’s last light indicator.

This charged my depleted 12.0 ah battery in less than 60minutes. The battery was cooled off prior to charging it , for testing purposes I ran my fan until the battery died and then I charged it up a few hours later with this charger. This supercharger is mainly for the M18 XC batteries(12.0, 6.0, and 8.0) you will benefit the most if you have those batteries, if you have the other batteries you would be better off getting the rapid charger due to the price difference. This will not charge the M12’s any faster than the rapid charger. The fan for this charge is not loud at all. Once the battery is fully charged, the fan will shut off. I have several of the 12.0’s and I use them frequently so this charger really comes in handy for me.

Another great product from the people at Milwaukee. The super charger delivers on its claim to charge the high output 12.0 battery in less than an hour. I also like the sequential charging feature that charges one battery than switches to the other battery and charges it. I also like that the battery charger will flash green when the battery charge reaches 80 %. This charger is a bit larger then the other Milwaukee chargers and has a small fan inside to keep the charging process cooler.

I really like this Super Charger for high output batteries like the M18™ HD12.0, which I use with my Milwaukee SDS Max Rotary Hammer. It’s definitely an improvement versus a regular charger for all battery types (high output and non-high output). It boasts “up to 4x faster” versus a regular charger for high output batteries, and 1.5-2x faster for most other batteries. It also boasts up to “2x faster” than a Milwaukee Rapid Charger for high output batteries although I found it to be more like 1.7x faster with my M18™ HD 12.0s. Yes, I clocked it. For non-high output batteries, the Super Charger and Rapid Charger are supposed to have similar charge times. Again, I tested that with my M18™ XC5.0’s and M18™ XC3.0’s (both non-high output) and found the Super Charger was ~6 minutes faster than the Rapid Charger. Super!In addition to faster charging times, I appreciate the green flashing, 80% charge indicator. It allows me to finish a job without waiting for a full charge. And while the charger is bulkier than my other Milwaukee chargers, it is wall mountable so I can keep it off the bench.I really appreciate that Milwaukee is finding ways to bring charging times a few steps closer to tool running times. Overall another great Milwaukee tool!

If you have the Milwaukee M18 or M12 line of power tools that get a workout like mine do – you really need the Super Charger Battery Charger. It accommodates either the 12vdc or 18vdc batteries and charges them much faster than the standard charger. It is noticeably wider and heaver than the standard model but the extra space it takes up in your tool bag is far offset by the boost in performance. I highly recommend it.

I own an assortment of Milwaukee M12 and M18 batteries and find that, although these batteries last a while as it is, need to recharge them to finish a days work. With this Milwuakee Super Charger Battery Charger, running out of battery juice is a thing of the past! Really – this charger charges back batteries to full state insanely fast! I work with lag bolts all day, thus taking a toll on any impact drill. When I’m installing fencing and need to pre-drill holes in fresh moisture-laden pressure-treated wood, that takes a toll on battery life as well. This Super Charger is awesome! LED indicators is self explanatory: continuous red is charging, slow flashing green is approaching full charge, and solid green means charging is complete. With this setup, I have abandoned corded completely. A neat tip about Milwaukee batteries is that they don’t develop a memory when charged after only a partial discharge, nor is it necessary to run down a battery pack before charging it. At the beginning of each work day, I top off the batteries and I’m ready to go.

Great news, everyone! This newer Milwaukee Super Charger finally has a fan! Not an annoying fan that constantly runs regardless of what the charger is doing (Cough cough, other brands). The built in fan only turns on while a battery is actively charging, and shuts off once charging is complete and the light is solid green! Charges super fast too. Bought the kit that comes with the XC HO 8.0aH battery, battery had 1 bar out of the box. This charger topped it off in around 30 minutes flat, that’s impressive! I wasn’t expecting it to have one since the website and none of the other reviews I’ve read have mentioned it, but I thought it was a great addition!
