This charger is fast! Charged the 8.0 battery in about half the time that my other Milwaukee charger does. It has a fan to cool the batteries during charging. I added a 12 v battery while the 18v was charging and it automatically charged the 12v when the 18v was fully char6. It would be nice if they both charged at the same time. Definitely recommend this charger.

Definitely the way to break into the newer/fast charge battery arrangement that Milwaukee is offering. The 8.0 replaces the 9.0 as my go to battery, definitely lower and more well balanced then the 9.0. Charge times are fantastically quick for both the m12 and m18 xc series batteries but don’t expect any change in charge time for the 18650 based batteries (older gen lithium ion cells. ) A must for anyone in the Milwaukee platform.
