I’m an auto tech, I use these tools everyday. I have 4 of these batteries. Long like span. Plenty of power for the size. Only issue I have with them, the black case at the bottom has broken on all 4 of them. But I’m not going to complain about it. Just need to figure out how to order more of the cases.

The staple, base model battery for all M12. These compact batteries are great for M12 tools that don’t draw too much power. Such as the small Bluetooth speaker, screwdriver, drills, lights. Get into the continual running things and they just don’t last long enough. The Hackzall, impact driver, multi-tool, etc. draw a lot of power, and, with my brushed Hackzall, you’ll only get 20-30 mins of actual use before having to recharge. They charge fast though. For small jobs around the house and property, these are great batteries, especially on sale. Get into the heavier stuff though and you’all need to upgrade to an XC battery or two.

This charger works great and completely charges my standard M12 batteries in under 30 minutes. The charge indication light is convenient and easy to see. It’s a little bit bulky for the size of battery that it charges, but it does have screw slots on the back so it can be wall mounted up out of the way.The only downside is the price. If you have or plan on buying some M18 tools as well, you’ll be better off purchasing the multi-voltage charger, which handles M12 and M18 batteries, and only costs $10 more.

I have three of these batteries that I rotate and use for my heated hoodie. If the hoodie is on high, the battery life is maybe one hour before it dies. I would have expected at least two to three hours of life on one full charge on high. The concept is great and sometimes you need that extended time on high depending on the working conditions. Disappointed with what I thought would have been a great product. At least I can still use the hoodie without the battery.
