The Milwaukee 1-1/8 in. Hex 16 in. Moil Point Chisels are forged from high-grade steel and coated for rust prevention to deliver users long-lasting performance and life. The breaker moil point chisels are ideal for starting holes and general chipping and breaking in concrete applications. The moil point breaker bits are shot-peened for improved performance. The 1-1/8 in. hex notch shank is for use with the MX FUEL Breaker and corded electric breaker hammers.

When it comes to moil point chisels you can’t do any better than this one. This one is made for the long haul and you will quickly notice that when you handle it. These are used in the MX Fuel breaker hammers. They are made for truly serious work. Breaking concrete, rocks, etc.My observations:• Well-made/forged from high grade steel. I couldn’t find any manufacturing or quality issues anywhere on it.• There is a family of tip types to cover your needs. This one is really for chipping, breaking and starting holes.• Coated to prevent rust.• This sound weird, however I like that the sticker came off cleanly without leaving residue to me to clean off. Just a pet peeve of mine. It’s another well-made Milwaukee product. I can’t see anyone being dissatisfied with the quality or life span of this of this chisel. If you are breaking concrete/rocks this is a great choice to use with a breaker hammer. I recommend.

Good bit, it fits a little looser in the hammer than I would like but it does the job (who knows, maybe that’s on purpose… just wasn’t something I was used to). Good strong steel, with very little damage to the bit beyond dulling the point (expected). It made quick work of snapping these old sidewalk slabs in half. I just need to snap them in half once or twice more and then I can man handle them into truck to get rid of them. Remember to rock the bit back and forwards a little so this doesn’t just drive itself deep in and get stuck!
