this is an awesome product for taking out either flooring, glue, thinset and old tile.

The carbide floor scraper saved me a lot of time getting the thin set off and the blade still looked like new with no ware.

Nice. Shaft is integrated into blade holder. Cheaper models use a two-piece design, which is weak and will snap off at the point where the shaft enters the holder. This produc’s one-piece design does it right!

I purchased this to remove slate tile from concrete. Seemed like it might have been the wrong tool for slate – as the slate flaked and disintegrated rather than coming up in big pieces. Using a smooth 3 inch seemed to work better for our particular application. Good quality chisel though.

I was a little put off by the price, however after using it to remove about 800 sq.ft. of thinset, it was worth every penny. The bolts did loosen up at first, but after cranking them down good it never happened again. Definitely exceeded my expectations.
