Milwaukee chisels are made from high grade, forged steel, providing up to 20% longer life. Floor scrapers have a flexible blade that allows for easy removal of flooring such as linoleum, laminate and carpeting. This chisel is specifically designed for SDS Plus rotary hammers and should be used in hammer only mode.

This Milwaukee Floor Scraper will be perfect to my next job to removing our linoleum flooring. The Floor Scraper also can be used for removing laminate and carpeting. The blade is made of forged steel (German made). That mean stronger and last longer. The blade is 4 in wide and it stiff and doesn’t flex. It has three screws to remove and replace the blade when the blade wears out. The chisel is designed for SDS Plus rotary hammers. The length is 10 in long. Another great product from Milwaukee.

Strongly recommended to breakout tile and thinset when removing tile flooring. A little pricey, time is money and it cut my demolition time by 80%.

This is a great tool, only problem the bolts come loose every 2 minutes! Easy solution however, when you buy this attachment go over to nuts and bolts and buy 3 5/8 x 1″ bolts and 3 5/8 NYLOCK nuts. Before you even start take those crap bolts it comes with out and put in the new ones. The bolts will come slightly loose but with the nylock nuts they will never come out! With this tool I could take out 10sqft of tile and thinset in about 15 minutes. I striped out 750sqft of tile from my house in a weekend and saved $2500 over having someone do it for me.Friendly hint before removing thinset, pour plenty of water on it and let it soak for about 5 minutes and you have dust free removal!I paired this with the Milwaukee 5262-21 Rotary Hammer and it made the job easy!

We have a couple of Milwaukee tools. With these bits we were able to complete a difficult job. We have 3 scraper bits, but are searching for replacement blades. Any help?

Worked out great to remove thinset on a flooring job. Really scraped the floor clean and after doing it this way, I’ve realized it’s the only way to do tile removal from now on. Saved a lot of time and time is money. Pays for itself in one job.

Like Many of the reviews you read here, the tool works great, but the blade retaining bolts back-out (come loose) after very short time :/ The bolts should have Loctite on threads from factory, or be through-bolted with lock nuts.Fortunately, I was able to use the tool (with blades removed) to finish the job. (removed 25 square feet of vinyl flooring from concrete – bathroom)I do recommend this floor scraper, but don’t use until (you) Loctite the blade retaining bolts.Again, good tool – Bad bolts !

Great chisel that makes light work of long, tough and monotonous jobs such as removing linoleum or vinyl flooring. Linoleum and the sticky underside can be a bear to remove but this chisel saves time and does a good job of removing flooring and the adhesive with the right tool: a rotary hammer drill. It is durable and the wide 4in. chisel saves time as well. The chisel is not super sharp (see picture) so it will not damage sub-flooring easily. I would caution on using this with tile. It can remove thinset once the tile has been removed but you will wear on the chisel faster. This is a pricey tool but worth the time and labor savings.Fits SDS and SDS PLUS tools, will not fit an SDS MAX or standard screw chuck. This chisel is meant to be used in hammer mode on your tool. My hammer drill has 1.8 lbs. of impact and this chisel works great with it. Blade is removable. This chisel is made in Germany.

The scraper itself works great but the problem was the bolts holding it together. When in use, the pieces get hot and bolts unscrew and eventually break off. I replaced them with longer bolts and nuts.

used to remove rubberized epoxy flooring. worked great, but where can you get replacement blades ?

At first it works great! Despite the $90 price tag its worth it if you have a fair amount of thinset to get rid of. Only complaint I have is that the 3 bolts holding the blade in place keept coming loose (even after re-tightening) until they finally snap off from vibration. Besides that its a handy tool I just wish it would last a bit longer given the price tag. @millwaukee should’ve done a bit better job with it.

So I needed this tool to remove thinset from concrete. The first one I bought broke withing 5 minutes of use. One of the three bolts fell out and would not thread back in. I returned it and decided to give another one a try. The second one I bought worked no problem and lasted for the duration of the job. Not one bolt became even remotely loose. I do recommend this product however be aware that one of the bolts or more may come loose.
