The name of this product might make you think it is something else.”Milwaukee 3/8 in. x 8 in. SDS-Plus SLEDGE Steel Mortar Knife Chisel Bit” is the name. It is more “sledge hammer” in design and definitely NOT a “knife” or “chisel.” See the attached pictures.I got the bit with the intent of carefully removing a brick fireplace hearth (indoors) to replace it with something flush with a wood floor. The design of this bit, while possibly suitable for outdoor use, makes me question whether it will work for what I had intended without making a lot of dust/debris. I will need to test it somewhere else before using it indoors.It may still work well, but I’m not going to try this inside the house before testing it somewhere else.
