The Milwaukee USB Rechargeable BEACON Hard Hat Light is powered by REDLITHIUM USB combines exceptional hands-free task lighting with an innovative, BEACON personal safety light. The hard hat light works as a headlamp, delivering up to 600 Lumens of TRUEVIEW High Definition Output with spot and flood beam options. This clip on hard hat light has an elastic strap, silicon grip, includes two unviersal hard hat clips and is compatible with all hardhats. This headlamp performs with over 2,000 recharges and 3X faster charging via USB. The REDLITHIUM USB Battery can be recharged in the light via Micro USB or swapped out with additional REDLITHIUM USB Batteries for virtually no downtime. This hard hat is awesome. It is very comfortable but it is built more for a round head. I don’t have round head, so it took a day to get used to it. The harness has formed to my head. The headlamp clip is so awesome too! In the morning, I put my headlamp on and I don’t even notice it is there. I have the milwaukee 475 lumens rechargeable headlamp. I recommend buying this hard hat and I will buy another in the future.

The Milwaukee Bolt White full brim vented hard hat comes with attachment areas around the crown for head lamps and includes the head lamp mounting accessory. It also comes with an auxiliary clip that can hold a paint marker or other marking device. The crown is vented as the title states which should work well in warm weather conditions. The head band was very comfortable, more so than hard hats that I am used to.

I am Union pipe layer in central/Northern Indiana. I purchased the light for $60 and hard hat for $25. best $85 I’ve spent in a LONG TIME. I am very pleased with Mikwaukee’s product here. thank you milwaukee for continuing to expand your list of products for construction workers. we all use milwaukee or dewalt power tools on the jobsite. but with Milwaukee expanding their products for us it has made me switch the power tools I buy from dewalt to Milwaukee. This is a quality hard hat. And I hope we continue to see more products that assist construction workers on the jobsite. I am ALWAYS Looking for something I might need on the jobsite.

This light is very bright, and works well as an area light and spotlight. I have used it extensively for the two weeks that I have owned it upon writing this review. Dirt and grime has had no effect on the light. The only two issues that I have are the battery life and what I believe is the light/battery overheating. The battery life is about two hours of off and on usage being used on either spotlight or the brightest area light setting. The overheating I refer to happens when I go to change the lighting mode after the light has been on for about 30 minutes. The light will shutoff and it takes a couple of attempts of pressing the mode button and power button to get the light back on. This has only happened a couple times and the light comes back on under a minute so I don’t see it as a major issue as I have had other led headlamps that will “overheat” and either shutoff without warning or change lighting mode. The light also fits well on my safari style hard hat. Other than the issues mentioned above, which were only minor in my opinion, this light functions great. I have had a handful of co-workers compliment how great my light was and ask where I got it. I also purchased a spare battery after reading some other reviews that talked about poor battery life just in case.
