The Milwaukee Thunderbolt Titanium coated Drill Bit Set (29-Piece) offers convenience and heavy-duty performance on the jobsite. Milwaukee Thunderbolt Titanium coated drill bits are designed for extreme durability and up to 3X longer life. The Thunderbolt web features a thicker core than a standard drill bit to provide ultimate strength and protect against side-load breakage. The titanium coating reduces heat build-up and keeps the bit sharp to extend performance. A specially designed parabolic flute form clears chips and debris fast to keep the bit cool. The 135 degree split point tip delivers a precision start and prevents walking for fast, accurate holes. Effective for drilling on curved surfaces, Milwaukee Thunderbolt Titanium Coated bits require less effort to drill through wood, metal and PVC, and are highly recommended for use with portable drills. The set comes in a resilient case and includes bit sizes 1/16 in, 5/64 in, 3/32 in, 7/64 in, 1/8 in, 9/64 in, 5/32 in, 11/64 in, 3/16 in, 13/64 in, 7/32 in, 15/64 in, 1/4 in, 17/64 in, 9/32 in, 19/64 in, 5/16 in, 21/64 in, 11/32 in, 23/64 in, 3/8 in, 25/64 in, 13/32 in, 27/64 in, 7/16 in, 29/64 in, 15/32 in, 31/64 in, and 1/2 in.

Excellent drill bits. They cut well and clean and fast in steel. I like them and recommend them to anyone. I have just purchased this set because it includes most of the smaller drill bits I use. It would be nice if they offered a set of larger bits but I’m sure the demand for those larger then 1/2 inch is not great enough to offer to the general public. I have been using Milwaukee drill bits among others for years and trust them to hold up for a long time.

I really like this set, so many sizes in one small case. They last a long time as well. I drilled 2,000 1/8” holes through sheet metal and plywood with one bit before it was thoroughly worn out.

The drills are very sharp, straight out of the box. They should last a long time, hopefully, based on titanium and each has a good shank for the chuck on a 1/2 inch drill to hold onto. The only drawback is that the drills are packed in tight and wedged in tight in their holders, which results in a nice laceration to the top side of the index finger when pulling one of the drill bits from the front. Otherwise, good name brand product. Go ahead and put some mineral oil in the hinges and moving parts just to make it easy to fold open. 29 pieces is a good range of drill sizes, too.

This is a very nice Drill Bit set. I have purchased smaller sets before but with 29 bits this set includes some sizes that the smaller sets leave out. From 1/16 to 1/2 inch. The 7/16, 29/64, 15/32, 31/64 and 1/2 inch sizes have a taper or reduced shaft to fit smaller drill chuck size. The case is also very nice heavy duty plastic with a strong latch. The case has a threaded insert providing a means of securing the case to a bench or tool box. The bits fit very snug inside the case, so they do not fall out if carried upside down. On cheaper sets when you open the set, all the smaller bits have fallen out and some times make it difficult to open the case. It takes a little effort to pull the bits out of the case, but I consider this to be a positive feature.

The Milwaukee 29 Piece Titanium Drill Bit Set Is something I really needed for my workshop/ tool chest. I have a bad habit of leaving bits on my workbench when changing bits. Needless to say my drill bit collection is missing lots of bits. Hopefully with this new set of bits I’ll be more careful. As far as using the bits they are by far the sharpest bits that I have ever used. The wood chips seem to come out of the holes better than my other bits. That leads to cooler bits. The case keeps the bits organized so maybe this time I’ll put them back when done! I am very satisfied with this bit set.

This Milwaukee titanium drill bit set has bits from 1/16 to ½ inch. The set comes with a very sturdy red carrying case that makes it real easy to organize your tool box or just throw into your pick-up. This is the perfect set for a DIY person. This set should give you years and years of quality usage. These bits have a 135 degree split point that prevents walking, so a punch isn’t always necessary.

I have always loved Milwaukee products and their drill bits are no exception. This is a very nice set with a variety of bits. they are very sharp and well made with quality metal. I have used them to easily chew through a variety of woods including oak, as well as PVC. Each time they gripped easily and drilled flawless hole into the material and made a neat hole effortlessly. You can really tell the difference with well made bits and these certainly fall into that category.

These chip through hardened metal like a beaver through toilet paper. People are having trouble with cutting themselves in removing the bits from the index. For the smaller bits loaded in the front cards of the index, it’s easy to slip a thumbnail under the bottom of the hex head and nudge the bit up some; this loosens it in the card, and allows it to be easily removed. The larger back card bits aren’t open to this technique, but they are more easily removed, because there is more room around them for your fingers.

This drill set is too nice looking to use. But anyway, 29 different sizes are nice. I drill in everything, from metal, to plastic and wood. This is THE set to have. The titanium is going to keep me going longer, as these bits will last longer. The Secure Grip keeps the bit from slipping in the chuck, like so many others will do. The tip design helps to get started exactly where you want and doesn’t wander. The case, like all Milwaukee cases, is very well laid out, so you can easily see all the bits and their sizes. The case also has the ¼”-20 threaded mount and it comes in handy too. On the back of the packaging is a size chart for the bits. I cut mine out for future reference, as it has each bit size and its metric equivalent. If you use or need many different sizes, want a neat, well organized package of long lasting bits. This is for you.

Great set of drill bits! All the sizes I needed and at a decent price as well. Can’t ask for more than that.

29 piece drill sets span a range from 1/16″ to 1/2″ in steps of 1/64″ and I usually buy a new set every year or two because of wear or breakages. This set with stronger webs and better design and coating should last me longer.I find that drill wander is reduced compared to my old set, although for precision drilling I still use a center drill to start the hole, then use an under-size drill finally finishing the hole with the exact size drill, using it more like a reamer..The case is really well designed, much better than the sheet metal cases that I am used to. When closed it removes the chance of losing a bit.

Good sharp durable bits

Durable and long lasting set of bits. Split point tips make precise starts, even when drilling metal. These bits work great on wood, metal, plastics etc. 29 piece set includes all the sizes you might require on a project. Nice case is included for storage and locating the correct bit. I have used these on aluminum and cold steel and they are sharp and fast. None have broken as I have experienced with lesser quality bits. Great price point for this large number of bits. In addition to being durable, the titanium coating keeps them from rusting.

Over the years I have been very happy with “Milwaukee” brand products and this 29 titanium Drill Bit Set is no exception. This set contains just about every size drill bit you might need. All bits are equipped with “secure-grip” which completely eliminates slipping in the chuck. The bits have a thicker core to resist braking, and a 135 degree spit point to prevent walking. The bits also have a titanium coating reportedly providing up to three times the life expectancy. The set also comes with a heavy duty storage case. If I use these drill bits carefully I expect they will last many years and possibly be the last set I will ever have to purchase. See attached photographs. As usual, well done Milwaukee!
