The MILWAUKEE RED HELIX Cobalt 7/32 in. Drill Bit are engineered for extreme durability and longer life in hard metal applications. The Milwaukee Cobalt drill bits are designed with a VARIABLE HELIX that includes an aggressive 35° Helix Angle which ends at 15°. The drill bits have QUADEDGE TIP to decrease heat buildup and drill faster. The 135° split point tip delivers a precision start and prevents walking for fast, accurate holes in Hard Metal, PVC and wood.The tapered drill bits feature a new ENHANCED TAPERED WEB that strengthens the bit’s core to increase flute durability. I would like to take back my negative review for 7/64 Milwaukee Cobalt bit . The hole I was trying to drill was at the angle and at a difficult location. The drill bit is excellent. I bought this to drill through a metal plate that I could not see inside a brick wall. It did not go through. I tried it on some scrape metal and it went through clean and fast so not sure why. The other issue was I bought a Milwaukee bit extender to reach through the wall and this bit would not in fit the 1/4 inch holder.

Throw this in a drill press and it cuts through steel like it’s aluminium. Does well with a cordless drill as well. Doesn’t wander much. So far has lasted way longer than a normal junk carbide or titanium coated bit. For metal drilling I’m going cobalt from now on, the price is worth it.
