The MILWAUKEE RED HELIX Cobalt 7/32 in. Drill Bit are engineered for extreme durability and longer life in hard metal applications. The Milwaukee Cobalt drill bits are designed with a VARIABLE HELIX that includes an aggressive 35° Helix Angle which ends at 15°. The drill bits have QUADEDGE TIP to decrease heat buildup and drill faster. The 135° split point tip delivers a precision start and prevents walking for fast, accurate holes in Hard Metal, PVC and wood. The tapered drill bits feature a new ENHANCED TAPERED WEB that strengthens the bit’s core to increase flute durability. The cobalt twist drill bits are ideal for tough applications, providing up to 15X life vs. Black Oxide Drill Bits.
- Cobalt alloy for up to 15x life vs. black oxide drill bits
- QUADEDGE TIP designed to decrease heat build up and drill faster
- ENHANCED TAPERED WEB strengthens the bits core
- VARIABLE HELIX Design for rapid material extraction
- 135° split point for precision start no walking
- 3-Flat Secure-Grip helps keep the bit fixed within the the chuck
- Designed for hard metals, PVC and wood

Worked well drilling on cast iron and metal.

Broke off an exhaust bolt and had to drill it out. (in place) Bought the 3/16 Cobalt as my starter size and also the appropriate size called for, to tap out the threads. I was surprised how easily these bits drilled through the old steal bolt.

I have been drain drilling holes into galvanized steel planters and it has been doing fine. Very pleased. I bought two just in case but now I know I won’t need the other one.

Its an odd size but needed it for my application. Cobalt bit should last for a long time

I tried several bits to drill through hard steel. This one was, by far, the best and most durable bit that I used.

Great drill. A little proces but it went through 3/16″ mild steel like butter without having to drill a bunch of sequentially larger pilot holes.

This drill bit stayed sharp to drill all the holes for the bolts that would attach new slats to my lawn furniture .Yea!

They are really hard steel to work on hard to bore metals. Good stuff

These cobalt drill bits last longer than standard black oxide or those gimmicky titanium coated ones do.

I was trying to drill through metal none of the bits I had could drill through the harden steel a trip to home Depot and I bought this bit and it drilled through the metal like butter definitely recommend it

Performed as specified by manufacturer.

These are the best bits I have ever used. They last through many uses on heavy steel. (I recommend going slow, and putting a drop of oil on the tip every 30-60 seconds.) I used this bit to drill 10 holes thru 1/4” steel, then thru a bunch of rivets, and it is still sharp!
