Broke off an exhaust bolt and had to drill it out. (in place) Bought the 3/16 Cobalt as my starter size and also the appropriate size called for, to tap out the threads. I was surprised how easily these bits drilled through the old steal bolt.

Bought it to drill stainless steel shelves. Used the lower speed on my Ryobi battery drill as recommended on the drill package and was amazed at how well it worked.

I tried several bits to drill through hard steel. This one was, by far, the best and most durable bit that I used.

I am new to knife making. I have tried several different drills and this was the best of the lot for drilling hard metal. Drill speed is vital to successTool speed charts are available onlineI use 600 rpm on my drill press with a little motor oil

These cobalt drill bits last longer than standard black oxide or those gimmicky titanium coated ones do.

HD really wanted this review done; sent two requests. So, ok. I’ll write a review on a tiny, 1/16” drill bit. Here goes. I secured the drill bit in my drill, put the tip on the mark I’d made on my steel bathroom door, pulled on the power trigger and….drilled a hole. The tiny drill bit met my expectations. Well, there you go. Review done.

Item in great shape out of the container. Very sharp, definitely straight, and superb craftsmanship. Cut right through steel, wood and almost anything else you might desire. Excellent drill bit.

I would like to take back my negative review for 7/64 Milwaukee Cobalt bit . The hole I was trying to drill was at the angle and at a difficult location. The drill bit is excellent. I never seen a bit flex so much and not break.P.S. HD, fix the picture and a title for the review pop up. It does not match the link!

It drilled perftly through the bolts I was trying to get off of my lawnmower. I would recommend trying it for yourself.

Used this to drill through a locked door in my home that didn’t have a key. I used a normal drill bit for 30 minutes to no avail on the anti-drill insert. This drill bit got through in less than a minute.

I have been drain drilling holes into galvanized steel planters and it has been doing fine. Very pleased. I bought two just in case but now I know I won’t need the other one.

Really? You want me to review a drill bit? Umm, it put a hole in the material I wanted so I guess it was at least good.
