So far we have used them on epoxy, we built a wooden swing set, and my husband put a crossmember on his truck and had to drill into the frame. Overall a quality set for many projects.

Ive used the bits on both wood and metal so far with no issues. They obviously worked better on the metal but its nice to be able to use the bits on all types of materials. The bits are not easy to tug out, but they also don’t jostle around at all. The bits in the case pivot forward to allow for easy access and replacement. ….ok, so I realize that you have to use these for a few times to be able to comment on how effective and lasting they are so take this review w/ a grain of salt. I’ve only used them a few times. I did cut into some 1/8″ thick aluminum and it cut through like butter. the bit didn’t slip at all, cut right through and left a very clean hole. I took a video but can’t seem to load it. Carrying case is nice too…I have another one that has a slide latch that is all jacked up, this one doesn’t look like it’ll do that but that’s pretty minor. Overall, big fan of these bits.

Yet another example of cheapening what was a really nice set. In Home Depot, saw this set with a “New! Lower Price!,” now $34.99 versus $44.99. So I picked it up and immediately realized what HD and Milwaukee had done: they removed the 1/2″ drill bit and replaced it with an extra 1/16″ drill bit.So, are they good bits? Yes. I have them, use them, like them. Is a good value? No. They lowered the price ten bucks, but the difference between the cost of a cobalt 1/2″ and a cobalt 1/16″ is $11, so actually they raised the price by a buck and presented it as a better deal, hoping you wouldn’t notice.But I did. And as a result think just a little less of both brands.
