I bought this set strictly for wood, and they’ve been great. Haven’t had to sharpen them yet and I’ve used them in hard and dense woods such as cocobolo and bubinga.I can’t speak to their ability in plastic or metal, but I bought the Rigid Cobalt set specifically for that, something I highly recommend, keeping a separate wood and separate metal drill set.

This is actually our2nd pack of them.Pros: *Sharp *Snap resistant *Inexpensive *Durable*Great case–way better them some other brands’ cases. *They work very well on: wood, thin metal, plastic, and drywall. Cons:*They are not the most rust resistant *Not really a con but most drill bits rust if you forget to dry them off after they get wet * A few of the bits are pretty hard to get out of the case at first:, but they will loosen up after a few uses.Would I recommend these great drill bits? I wouldn’t hesitate!Thanks for reading

these are great drill bits, holds up very well as long as you take care to use cutting oil and the correct speed. been using these bits on stainless steel and are doing a great job. these drill bits are equal to your high priced bits. cant go wrong for the price and home depot has them in stock all the time.

I saw these on sale, and thought lets see if Milwaukee is really worth the price. It is. I could literally tell the difference as soon as I opened it. From the construction of the case to the bits them selves. Now I face a delema. I just recently upgraded my tools to Rigid. I like them, but now Im wondering if I should have waited and sved up to get Milwaukee tools.

I’ve owned this set for 3 years. Besides occasionally misplacing the smaller bits, I have no complaints on these. These bits have gone though drywall, solid oak and other furniture wood. I’ve used the smaller bits for pilot holes. The case is perfect and it has a slide latch to unlock/lock case for easy access and portability. Each hole in the case is made to only fit its bit size so you won’t be mismatching them when putting them back.

I use these bits to drill holes in steel rifle barrels. They have held up very well and the tips are sharp enough to prevent the bit from “walking” off the target point; requiring only a light tap from an auto-punch. They were on sale when I purchased too, which was a bonus. I believe this bit set is an excellent value.
