Great bits for the price but unfortunately my home depot decided to stop carrying them. Every time depot has something good they decide to get rid of it. It’s very obvious that the people making these decisions are sitting behind a desk somewhere and have never done a day of manual labor in their entire lives. Instead of always worrying about what bits to get to save a couple cents worry about what customers want.

Review for Milwaukee Black Oxide Drill Bit SetWe have been buying Milwaukee Drill bits for a few years now, and they work pretty well! This is actually our2nd pack of them.Pros: *Sharp *Snap resistant *Inexpensive *Durable*Great case–way better them some other brands’ cases. *They work very well on: wood, thin metal, plastic, and drywall. Cons:*They are not the most rust resistant *Not really a con but most drill bits rust if you forget to dry them off after they get wet * A few of the bits are pretty hard to get out of the case at first:, but they will loosen up after a few uses.All in all, 5 out of 5 Would I recommend these great drill bits? I wouldn’t hesitate!Thanks for reading

A good set of bits for around the house. The carry case is easy to use and a convenient size. Great for drilling through drywall and similar applications, but do not stand up well to hard materials. Another pain point is the smaller bits can be difficult to get in and out of the case.Owned this product for two years.

Very good i will be buying more very sharp . was looking for a good drill bit for steel these work out standing. I bought two sets when i bought them and will be sending for two more sets.

The set of bits is a good value. I was drilling 3.5″ I.D. schedule 40 pipe and the 3/8 bit dulled quicker than I expected. In total 12 holes were drilled and by the last hole it took quite a bit of time.

The bits themselves are adequate, but barely. Do not expect to drill metal with ANY hardness. The index is horrific. The bits are nearly welded in and either wear a Kevlar glove or buy massive amounts of BandAids when putting them back in.

I bought this set strictly for wood, and they’ve been great. Haven’t had to sharpen them yet and I’ve used them in hard and dense woods such as cocobolo and bubinga.I can’t speak to their ability in plastic or metal, but I bought the Rigid Cobalt set specifically for that, something I highly recommend, keeping a separate wood and separate metal drill set.
