The MILWAUKEE 29 piece Thunderbolt Black Oxide Drill Bit Set offers convenience and heavy-duty performance on the job site. These drill bits are designed for extreme durability and long life. The Thunderbolt web features a thicker core to provide ultimate strength and protect against side-load breakage. Corrosion resistant coating provides lubricity and resists the corrosion of the tip. A specially designed parabolic flute form clears chips fast, while the 3-Flat Secure-Grip shank holds the drill bit firmly in the drill chuck. The 135° split point tip delivers a precision start and prevents walking for fast, accurate holes. The Milwaukee Thunderbolt Black Oxide bits are effective for drilling on curved surfaces and require less effort to drill through metal, wood, and PVC. The set comes in a resilient case and includes the following bits: 1/16 in., 5/64 in., 3/32 in., 7/64 in., 1/8 in., 9/64 in., 5/32 in., 11/64 in., 3/16 in., 13/64 in., 7/32 in., 15/64 in., 1/4 in., 17/64 in., 9/32 in., 19/64 in., 5/16 in., 21/64 in., 11/32 in., 23/64 in., 3/8 in., 25/64 in., 13/32 in., 27/64 in., 7/16 in., 29/64 in., 15/32 in., 31/64 in., and 1/2 in.

I’ve owned this set for 3 years. Besides occasionally misplacing the smaller bits, I have no complaints on these. These bits have gone though drywall, solid oak and other furniture wood. I’ve used the smaller bits for pilot holes. The case is perfect and it has a slide latch to unlock/lock case for easy access and portability. Each hole in the case is made to only fit its bit size so you won’t be mismatching them when putting them back.

I bought these bits based on the overwhelming positive reviews.Having used these bits just once so far, about all I can truly say is that these drill bits seem to do what drill bits are supposed to do — drill a hole, while not breaking. For me, only time will tell if these black oxide drill bits (by Milwaukee) are as durable and long-lasting as other reviewers have claimed. Frankly, I sure hope so ….I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

I bought these bits to drill through a metal door, and they worked perfectly. I’ve not had any problems with them in that projects or subsequent projects in which I used them.

3 years of use and they still drill just fine. The case is very handy and rugged. Easy to see what bit needs to go back in. Have not lost a bit yet either

I haven’t used these a whole lot yet. But the few times I drilled it proved itself. I don’t think these will dull any time soon. What’s extra benefit is the cool and funcitonal container which I will keep even when the bits go out.

Usually not a lot to say about drill bits, but these work really well. Have used on sheet metal (gutters) and plastic. And they come in a very nice case!!

I use the drill bits on wood and metal and am very pleased with the Milwaukee brand bits. They’re strong and so far have kept sharp. I use the drill bits in my hand held electric drills around the house and the black oxide bits work just fine for me.

I have had a few DeWalt drill bit sets but this set has been my favorite so far. Everything you need for around the house and should last you a long time. I have had my set for 2 years now and have not had any issues (besides me losing the bits!).

They are good bit would be nice to be impact ready

If the case is inverted (which often happens in a tool chest), the next time you open the case many of the drill bits have fallen out of their sockets and spill out of the case when opened.

Great item will recommend

I have only used the bigger sizes a couple of times but they seem to hold up to the UHMW plastic that I am putting holes in.

Review for Milwaukee Black Oxide Drill Bit SetWe have been buying Milwaukee Drill bits for a few years now, and they work pretty well! This is actually our2nd pack of them.Pros: *Sharp *Snap resistant *Inexpensive *Durable*Great case–way better them some other brands’ cases. *They work very well on: wood, thin metal, plastic, and drywall. Cons:*They are not the most rust resistant *Not really a con but most drill bits rust if you forget to dry them off after they get wet * A few of the bits are pretty hard to get out of the case at first:, but they will loosen up after a few uses.Would I recommend these great drill bits? I wouldn’t hesitate! Thanks for reading
