The MILWAUKEE 29 piece Thunderbolt Black Oxide Drill Bit Set offers convenience and heavy-duty performance on the job site. These drill bits are designed for extreme durability and long life. The Thunderbolt web features a thicker core to provide ultimate strength and protect against side-load breakage. Corrosion resistant coating provides lubricity and resists the corrosion of the tip. A specially designed parabolic flute form clears chips fast, while the 3-Flat Secure-Grip shank holds the drill bit firmly in the drill chuck. The 135° split point tip delivers a precision start and prevents walking for fast, accurate holes. The Milwaukee Thunderbolt Black Oxide bits are effective for drilling on curved surfaces and require less effort to drill through metal, wood, and PVC. The drill bits themselves are 3 or 4 stars but the case is 5 stars all the way. If you are older than 30 & use drill bits on a regular basis then you understand the pain of drill bit cases of the past. I bought this strictly for the case but the bits aren’t bad if you know how to sharpen them.

The set of bits is a good value. I was drilling 3.5″ I.D. schedule 40 pipe and the 3/8 bit dulled quicker than I expected. In total 12 holes were drilled and by the last hole it took quite a bit of time.
