The step drill bit kit features the #1 1/8 in. – 1/2 in., #4 3/16 in. – 7/8 in. and #9 7/8 in. and 1-1/8 in. step bits with laser engraving for a clear stop on size identification.

What a great set, it has everything I need. I did practice on a metal sheet just to get the feel of the bits. The holes drilled really fast and very smooth. It was easy to use and the holes were all accurate. The set is made in the USA and extremely well built, should last forever. I love the fact that it came with a wonderful hard case keeping the bits organized and easy to store. I highly recommend this set.

The Milwaukee three piece impact duty step bit kit is a very well made professional quality tool set that will be useful to anyone who needs to drill holes in thin sheet metal. I have often used a regular bit to drill a hole only to find that I should have used a little bigger size. If I had been using a step drill bit then I would have only had to push in the bit a little harder and the hole gets one size larger. It’s really pretty simple. This set comes with #1, #4 and #6 step drills that can drill lots of sizes of holes in various thicknesses of metal. The set is equipped with hex shafts, is rated for impact drivers and comes in a nice Milwaukee storage box. The bits are also coated with titanium aluminum that increases their useful life by up to 5x. They work great!

This set also comes with a great case that protects Your bits and keeps them organized. The bits slide up in the case protecting the tips from any damage in transit. I have several different sizes of these step bits and they never disappoint me. Highly recommend
