The 1-5/8″ OSCILLATING FLUSH CUT Milwaukee BLADE is used on tools typically referred to as a Multi type tool and are very versatile power tools. In my application, I cut 2 notches in a piece of 1/2″ ply wood using a circular saw (resulting cuts shown in my two accompanying pix). The 2 cuts left a small “web” of uncut wood in each of the two kerfs, which is typical in similar applications. I then used the 1-5/8″ Milwaukee blade in my multi tool to cut away the remaining ply wood. Similar cuts in wood can only be done using a “plunge” cut from this kind of tool.

A universal blade that works well for wood, metal, and plastic. I prefer these multi-purpose types of blades since I don’t always know when I might hit something that would ruin or shorten the life of a wood blade. I was concerned that these might not fit my Dremel tool since it was not one of the tools specified on the compatibility list, but they fit just fine. At a width of 1 1/4″ these are slightly narrower than other blades I have which provides some added flexibility to navigate tighter spaces.

I have many Milwaukee brand products and they are all quality items as these oscillating tools blades have proven to be. I use my oscillating tool often and these particular blades were used on wood and metal. For the metal I had to cut off a small end piece of a screw and the blade was fine doing that. But for the most part the blades were used for cutting wood such as shims around a door jamb and trimming 2×4’s .

Picked these up for a kitchen remodel to cut through some metal mesh on the corners of the walls. Putting on one of these fresh blades cut through the metal easily. Obviously tough material will wear down blades quickly. These are no exception, but I’m happy with the lifespan I got from them.

Another great product from the people at Milwaukee. These multi-tool blades can be used for many types of projects. I used mine on my deck project replacing the deck boards. I had to use these blades for removing stubborn old boards and screws as well as using them for cutting the deck boards around downspouts and support beams. These blades were used in my Milwaukee oscillating multi-tool.

Retro fitting my 1965 kitchen cabinets. Problem: they are not plywood or pressed wood, they are real hardwood. I have gone through 2 blades and decided to get these with the Milwaukee name on them. They seem to cut better (faster and easier) and I have not dulled one yet. Another project came up and I took the tool with blade out to cut the plywood so that I could remove it from the side of the chicken/guinea house. Couldn’t get the top nails out so I cut through the plywood and the nails. (It is for wood and metal.) Blade is still sharp. Did a great job on that and the plywood is off and ready for new siding.
