The Milwaukee 49-00-5324 is a 3-1/2 in Metal Scroll M12 HACKZALL reciprocating saw Blade designed for precision metal cuts, and optimized for use with the M12 HACKZALL Reciprocating Saw. HACKZALL Blades deliver up to 35% more cuts per charge than leading reciprocating saw blades and are ideal for a variety of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and maintenance/repair applications. Milwaukee HACKZALL Blades combine an aggressive cutting angle, deep gullets and precision-ground tooth geometry for faster cutting. The short length of HACKZALL Blades makes it easier for users to cut in the confined spaces where the HACKZALL Reciprocating Saw excels and helps deliver accurate cuts with reduced bending and breaking. blade did great cutting branches while pruning. switched to finer tooth blade to cut plastic flower pots and sprinkler pipe. blade did what it was supposed to do.

These are the perfect complement to my M12 Hackzall. I’ve used it to cut treated pine 2x4s and fence pickets, hardwood pallet lumber and plywood. It eats through all of it with very little effort.I’m still on my first blade, and haven’t noticed it getting dull yet. The white coating has worn off to show the metal underneath, but there hasn’t been a noticeable drop in performance.The twistlock attachment method also makes these super easy to install and uninstall, while keeping them securely mounted during use. I definitely recommend them.

This saw blade provides me with a lot of peace of mind knowing that I am not going to slice through a CPVC water line or cut an electrical wire hiding in the wall. I learned the hard way that this is solely to be used for dry wall and nothing else. Unfortunately it will not work well on thin wood, mortar, or any other kind of wall type of material.
