I had about 40 lineal feet of cracked grout to remove for a client, this accessory made short work of that task. It fit my non Milwaukee Saws All perfectly in the inverted position. It works best at a slow speed so you don’t heat it up and so you can control it, blasted the 3/16″ grout lines clean with just a few passes. So glad I found it, it made grout removal almost enjoyable. One of the things I liked was how the grout wasn’t flung all over the room like a rotary tool will do. Well made overall. Can’t speak to the long term durability yet, but it seemed ready to do another 100′ if needed. I also think using it with the HacksAll would be the best application since a full size Saws All can be difficult to control. If you’ve got a regrout job this tool is a must have.

Works great! Cuts fast and with less than a tenth of the dust of a 4″ grinder with diamond blade! I am a professional contractor/handyman and this will be my replacement for using the 4″ grinder with a diamond wheel to repair tile. Nothing will cut faster than the grinder, but nothing is dustier either! This makes minimal dust and can be further reduced by keeping a shop vac running with the nozzle near the blade (not too close though!). In many cases I can avoid the excessive time it can take to tarp everything off like I like to do because I am overly respectful of my clients’ homes. The first one has lasted long enough to cut out close to a dozen 8×8 tiles so far and seems to have worn very little. The last grout lines I cut took twice as long as the rest, but that may be in part to the density and mix of the grout in that section. I have also used their 4″ floor scraper for sawzalls and it worked pretty well too. As expected, though, the shaft did eventually break at the mouth of the sawzall chuck. I’m not very abusive on tools and would have to say that the scraper could have been more durable. If you buy this grout rake, tape a metal scaper or other metal sheet material tool to the wall base trim at the end of the grout line to prevent damage to the trim or wall.

I used it to cut out some holes in a lath and plaster wall. I was able to make accurate holes without the wall falling apart. Good on grout lines also

The first time I used Milwaukees grout removal tool I had the same problems most complain about. I damaged quite a few tiles. I don’t recommend using the tool on grout lines less than 14 inch. That being said… I’m on my 2nd tool after over 700 feet of 38 grout lines. Fast and easy once you learn how to use it.
