These are a big time saver, however they must be used properly.Do not run them full bore, keep speed just fast enough to cut effectively. Sharpen often, at least every 5 minutes if not more. A bench grinder with an 80 grit wheel is effective and efficient.Don’t get greedy with cuts, try to only scrape a half inch to an inch at a time.if you follow these guidelines, you’ll maximize the life of the tool and get your money’s worth. last job I went through 3 of them to scrape carpet glue from a 650 sq ft concrete floor to prep for hardwood. hand scraping would have taken at least 4 hours, with these I had it done in under an hour and went through 3 of them. I’d definitely pay $45 again to save 3 hours of my life.

My neighbor let me borrow it because he heard me trying to take off old and new flooring that was glued down laminate. I was using a hammer and a spade with a hammer head. This tool got the flooring done in less than a half hour. I was on my 2nd day with the hammer lol. It never broke and I even hit nails with it. If you get the right angle and keep it on that angle you will be fine. It’s a great product I plan on getting one soon.

It is probably good for other jobs, but not to get glue off terrazzo. You need a multi tool with a scraping blade for that

I purchased it to remove vinyl flooring, but it didn’t work that well. The first one broke so I purchased a second one. Finally, I purchased a scraper with a longer handle that worked better. I think a multi-tool with a scraper with work best.Thanks.

For our use they couldn’t hold up under the pressure to remove an old coating on metal.

It worked as expected

this thing works well But I think it could damage the saw

Breaks up easily if you use it constantly. If work on intervals of 20 min get the job done

I had a couple hundred sq ft of sheet vinyl flooring in my kitchen/dining. A manual scraper was an option, but i didnt want to spend that much time or energy. This blade is a GREAT idea in theory, i could get a lot of vinyl up in a 1/4 of the time it would take to do it manualy, but i ran into the strength of the blade NOT being all that great. I had to go through 2 blades for about 150sq ft. I could have made them last longer, but that would take too much attention to detail. MILWAUKEE PLEASE MAKE THIS BLADE STROGER!!!

Blade worked good but too small for the room size. I ended up renting a power scraper from Home Depot to complete my job

I used this tool to pull up about 300 square feet of parquet flooring. I ended up having to use three of them to get the job done because the first two broke part way through the process. To get underneath the flooring sometimes you have to move the saw around and if you lift it very far off the ground very much the subsequent bending will eventually snap the tool. They aren’t that expensive so it wasnt that awful but I do wish I did not have to go through multiple of them. Also, depending on the glue used on the parquet, it could take quite awhile to pull up and your hands will feel dead before long because of the significant vibrations from the saw.

I was using another brand of scraper to remove floor tile. It did not hold up and quickly broke. The Milwaukee scraper is made from a quality metal. It held up well.

Works great, only wish I would have bought a larger one.

I used it on a spill of 5 gallons of urethane in my tool shed. It had set. This was a nasty, sticky mess. This scraper and some effort allowed me to get the spill up in an hour.
