Great strong blades for any type of work challenges. This package contains the most popular array blades for most jobs due to their ability to cut thru all kinds of stuff like nails, screws lath and many unknowns. I find them both practical and economical to consider it the first up tool from the tool kit. Packaging is informative and to the point. All blades are lightly oiled, so banging around the tool bag will prevent oxidation. Cutting soft materials last longer, but the titanium addition will give extra life for use in many metals. Cutting straight thru a pipe with these becomes a simple task!

Let me start off by saying I’ve had really good experiences with Milwaukee tools, blades & drill bits; they seem to hold up really well, usually exceeding expectations. I’ve never been happy with the blades that came with my oscillating multi-tool. They seem to work well when I first start using them, but overheat & become dull in very short order. The bi-metal blades are a significant improvement in blade life; I used the carbide blade today & it held up extremely well. Two statements in the product description, which caught my attention: Titanium enhanced carbide teeth for up to 50x longer life vs. bi-metal blades. Titanium enhanced bi-metal for up to 15x longer life vs. high carbon steel blades. I can’t verify these statements yet, but if they are even close to being true, these blades are well worth the price.I also ordered the Milwaukee Oscillating Multi-Material Cutting Multi-Tool Blade Kit & am trying to figure out what the difference is between these two products. While the blades have different labels on them, the product descriptions appear to be the same. They are the same price, so what difference does it really make ???

This is a review of the Milwaukee Oscillating Metal Cutting Multi-Tool Blade Kit (3-Piece). This is a really nice blade kit. The three blades come in different sizes. Two of the blades are titanium coated and the third has a carbide treatment for extreme metal cutting. I used the carbide blade to cut through a bolt, and the tip was still in good shape after wards, where a bargain blade would have been rubbed smooth. I used the titanium to cut wood, and it breezed right through it. The blades fit my M12 tool and my Dremel V60.

I’ve used many products from Milwaukee over the years and have always been impressed with their design and quality. This Oscillating Metal Cutting Multi-Tool 3-Piece Variety Pack continues that tradition of quality. The kit consists of 3 blades. One, with carbide teeth and labeled Extreme Metal, is rated for cutting all types of metal, bolts, screws, metal pipe, cement board, plastics, PVC, and can also be used for grout removal. The other two blades are made of titanium and can be used to cut metal, wood with nails, PVC, and dry wall. All three are universal fit and are compatible with a wide variety of multi-tools. In use and mounted to my Rockwell multi-tool these blades cut as advertised, making clean cuts through hardened steel bolts, rebar, nails – pretty much everything I tried them on. I’m very pleased with these blades – highly recommended!

This set of three Milwaukee oscillating metal cutting blades will cut through a variety of materials. The set includes a 1-3/4 inch titanium enhanced bi-metal blade for wood with nails, PVC, metal and drywall; a 1-1/8 inch titanium enhanced bi-metal blade for wood with nails, PVC, metal and drywall; and a 1-3/8 inch titanium enhanced carbide teeth blade for plaster, cement board, metal, PVC, grout removal and metal pipe. Milwaukee indicates these blades will work in oscillating tools from Dewalt, Rockwell, Ridgid, Makita, Craftsman, Ryobi, Porter Cable, Dremel (with included adapter for the MM45 and MM50 models), Fein and Bosch. For my testing, I used the blades in a Dremel MM45 with the included adapter. I cut through wood, nails and angle iron. All three blades cut well but the blade with the carbide teeth left a cleaner cut and cut faster than the non-carbide blades. Milwaukee claims the laser etching is long lasting for clear and easy blade identification but one of my blades had some of the black oxide coating rubbed off during use and the laser etching is hard to read in that spot as a result. I should also note these blades were dripping with oil and required a good wipe down before use. Overall these are good blades that should outlast the competition’s high carbon steel blades. Multi tool compatibility also adds to their value.
