The Milwaukee 49-16-2553 tool boot is for use with the M12 FUEL 1/4 in. Impact Driver and Impact Wrench (2553-20 & 2552-20) only. This product provides a lightweight, durable solution that is meant to protect the tool and work surface. A durable rubber design will withstand corrosive materials commonly found in maintenance environments. Not for use on or near live electrical circuits. Use on any other product may result in damage to tool motor and may void tool warranty.

Excellent, top-notch product. Difficult to to get on, but that’s a good thing because it fits like a tight glove. Had to take off belt clip to install it properly–start w the front and then work the boot over the back occasionally pulling up to keep rubber from folding under when installing. Wonderful product because it not only protects things from being bumped by the tool, but it also protects the beauty of the tool. I’ve bought these anytime they’re available for the tools I own. Wish they’d make these for the drills. 🙂

Milwakee m12 fuel 1/4″ impact driver protective boot.Nice thick, well fitting boot.Even looks good with the Milwakee and fuel embossed logos.Price is not too bad as its an “official” milwakee product.I have read that it may be helpful to get the boot warm with a heat gun or hair dryer but mine went on without having to do any of that.
