The Milwaukee M12 FUEL Protective Boot is for use with the 3/8 in. Ratchet (2557-20). This ratchet boot provides a lightweight, durable solution to protect the 3/8 in. ratchet tool and work surface. The durable rubber design will withstand corrosive materials commonly found in maintenance environments. Not for use on or near live electrical circuits. Use on any other product may result in damage to tool motor and may void the tool warranty.

Great product. Protects the head of the tool. It fits extremely tight, and is difficult to get on, but once it’s on it looks and feels wonderful. Will buy other Milwaukee protective products for other tools.

The boot fit perfectly once installed but did take some effort to get it over the ratchet. I recommend a tiny bit of lube. This item is a must to protect the ratcheting mechanism from dust and debris. That being said, it really should be included with the ratchet. Protect your investment!
