This case offers good protection and installs nicely, just start at the front and watch the sides as you work your way back. HD offers a good price on this relative to the competition. However it is still a costly rubber cover. I would be willing to pay a little more for the tool if it was included.

The boot works great and protects the tool from damage. The only problem is the case that came with my impact has trouble closing but can be forced to closed.
