I also have the Milwaukee Force Logic M18 MCM crimper and tool and this works very nice. The tool feels great and you can make a confident crimp. This is definitely a time saver and I have to say this is fun to use. The four dies that come with it are color coded. I would recommend get familiar with the instructions unless you are a seasoned pro. This is one of my favorite tools in my toolbox. People complain of the cost but Milwaukee makes a solid and accurate tool.

expensive, but it will last your life time and your kids life time. I bought several properties that have aluminum wiring had a lot of trouble with the properties tell this baby came along. I will now longer turn down deals that have problems like aluminum wires. these are the dies for a fantastic crimper that solves a verity of issues. The dies and crimper are not really for DIY’s this is a tool for the trades I’m kinda strange duck having tools like this and not a pro. Can’t remember what the crimper cost but I believe it was over 2000.00. But well worth it in the end. Fixes problems once and for all.

This is a very nice crimping jaw set works very well crimping wires. I work a lot with wires from my solar panels to inside my home. I have never had or owned one of these crimping jaws before and when I starting using this one to work on my wiring I said wow this works great. Saves me a lot of time from the way I was doing my wiring before till I starting using this crimping jaws and very easy to use and handle.

I needed to expand my range of options without breaking the bank and this set did the trick for me. The crimping jaw is very high quality (expected nothing less) and the dies were similarly exactly of the quality and specifications that I was looking for. My only “complaint” is the expense of these items, but you do get what you pay for and I will be adding to these ASAP.

Professionals require professional tools to adequetly do the job right. Milwaukee is one of the companies that design a tool for the job. This crimping tool is a heavy duty pipe crimper. This set comes with four dies. We reccomend this very highly to those that work in the field. Wether the job is to crimp closed a metal wire, or secure a metal rope, this tool is definitly a good idea to have. This is a industry standerd and comforms to Underwriter Laboratory #486A-B for use with Anderson, Blackburn, Ilso and others. Makes fast, accurate and consistent one-handed crimps.

This set of dies and the crimping jaw for the Milwaukee 2679 Force Logic M18 cordless crimping tool is made for wire sizes of commercial and industrial applications. The most touted feature is the reverse size engraving on the inside of each die half to make a permanent imprint of the die size on the crimp connection for easy inspection and identification. Clearly this is an innovation. The dies are durable and easy to insert into the crimper jaws which have a spring loaded pin that mates with a groove in the dies. The instructions and documents included with the die set are in extremely fine print but once you understand the system you will not be needing them. The set helpfully includes a clevis pin service kit for replacing this wear item. I did not replace the clevis pin as I have not done enough crimping to need it yet. The instruction sheet for the clevis pin replacement are clear and well illustrated.

I have been waiting for a system like this for some time. I have been making due with an older manual hydraulic system that works but takes a little more time and patients. I use these dies for making battery and welding cables and the difference in how fast the crimp is made once I squeeze the trigger is awesome, no more trying to hold the cable, lug, crimper, and then pump the handle all at once. This is now my go-to set.

Perfect match for the M18 Force Logic Crimper. It includes four dies that have a nice clean finish to them and are clearly marked and color coded. If your an electrician that works continuously doing heavy duty crimping, this is a must have item. Yes, they are a bit expensive; but think of it this way… The time and energy that you save using these will far outnumber the cost in no time. Hence, it will allow you more time that will open up for other projects. Again, Milwuakee is staying ahead of the others with quality and variety! Nice job here!

This Milwaukee 750 MCM CU/AL CRIMPING JAW WITH 400-750 MCM AL 6-TON U STYLE DIES set is truly one of the best terminations set I have ever used. Safe, professional high power terminations are a disciplined procedure with many steps that are sometimes rather tedious and, always repetitious. This set is just a part of Milwaukee’s system that provides several of the common sizes in a time saving and convenient package. The dies impart a quality crimp complete with permanently imprinted size identification.

This set includes expensive but excellent quality dies that fit U Style Crimpers including the Milwaukee M18 Force Logic. The included aluminum U Style dies are the 750 MCM 6T (49016-U750), 600 MCM 6T (49-16-U600), 500 MCM 6T (49-16-U500), and 400 MCM 6T (49-16-U400). Everything fits into a small tough box. I suspect these tools will last lifetime use on a job site.
