Excellent set of u-style copper dies, and a great companion to the M18 Force Logic Crimper, model 2679-22. This all-inclusive #8 AWG – 600 MCM copper die set is a great value when compared to purchasing the dies individually. Dies have an excellent finish to them – stainless steel finish according to the packaging. Should give them superior corrosion protection. Dies are all clearly marked with what diameter wire they are each for, as well as color-coded. Dies emboss the corresponding wire size into the connector during crimping, ensuring upon later inspection that the proper size die was used. The 15 dies come in a really substantial high-impact plastic box, with designated inserts for each die, and with a cross-reference chart on the interior of the lid.

This is a professional level tool but great to use for the do it yourself handiman who wants a professional finished job. Each die is color coded and imprints the wire size onto your connector to take the guess work out of your wiring project and reduce the chance of screw ups. All dies come in a compact, durable carrying case with matching color codes to make storing organized, easy and fast. Includes a cross reference chart inside the lid of the case for fast reference. These dies work with the Milwaukee M18 FORCE LOGIC 600 MCM Crimper. Dies are heavy duty and easy to use.

This is a heavy duty professional grade set of dies. The dies worked well in my M18 Force Logic Crimper, model 2679-22. 15 dies are provided #8 – 600 MCM copperThe dies are provided in a rugged case that organizes the dies by size. Each die is color coded so it is easy to see which die is which size – and to put them back in the right place within the case. When using the dies, they emboss the corresponding wire size into the connector during crimping to show the proper size die was used.

This set is very nice. The die quality is very good. Very hard with nice defined edges and surfaces. I expect good quality from Milwaukee, and this set delivers. I cheat a bit and have used these on steel cable crimps, and also copper cable crimps. It makes well defined impressions, and tight crimps on copper. I made up a set of 2 gauge cables for a car. I couldn’t be happier with them. You do need the proper tool for these to be of any use. The storage case is very nice too. This set was delivered in perfect condition. I highly recommend these based on the overall quality. I look forward to using them more and more.

First of all, these are expensive, but that being said, the quality of the dies are fantastic. It comes with 15 different dies for your extreme crimping needs. It works perfectly with the Milwaukee M18 Force Logic crimper, or any u-stile crimping jaw machine. The box it comes in is made of high impact plastic and is sure to last around the job site. It is small, compact, and won’t take up much space in your shop either.
