We have been using this in a small ~800 SQFT attic. It’s been flawless and easy to operate. With the auto start function on the gun, the speed of the gun, plus this attachment it’s been AWESOME. The worst part of adding/installing it was getting out a set of pliers to pull the original bit driver out of the gun.

The Milwaukee collated screw gun attachment is a must if you own the M18 Fuel Drywall Screw Gun. It increases your workflow for doing drywall and has some unique features. It accepts most screw lengths up to 2 inches from different manufactures and has a tapered nose to fit into tighter spaces. I have not experienced any types of jamming since owning this attachment.

I love my Milwaukee cordless drywall screw gun. The only thing I didn’t love was manually feeding screws into it. This little guy is the perfect pairing to an almost perfect tool! This gives me the ability to feed collated screws through my drywall screw gun to be much quicker and way more efficient.Installing this was a little tricky though. Not enough to dock it any points, but I will tell you – the process is not in the manual. I mean, there is a process in the manual, but it is missing a huge point. And I usually don’t even read manuals, but I checked when I couldn’t get the longer screw bit to be flush to the nose of the attachment. I tried several things, and assumed that Milwaukee gave me the wrong bit. The instruction booklet doesn’t say that you have to take out the bit receiver as well. Well, you do. And let me tell you, whoever put that thing in there sure made it a snug fit. You really have to grab it with pliers and work it out. Once it is out, the extended bit will fit in – You have to really seat that one in there too – and it will work fine. The screws fed fine once I got everything worked out. The whole assembly feels comfortable and evenly weighted in my hand. I fed a few hundred screws without any problems. The attachment is made out of a high quality plastic, which is lightweight and sturdy. Besides the instructions missing a step, I love this tool and am excited to have it to make my screw gun much better.

Works as intended. Saves alot of time. No cords to trip over and reaching in your pouch for screws. Pays for itself the first time you use it

Have a Hilti corded screwgun, but being cordless is by far worth the cost. Drove screws in more than fast enough and depth adjustment was easy to work. Now if someone would make a holster to hold one of these along the side of your let it would be perfect.

Make sure you have the m18 system and read the box carefully to make sure you have the right tool system .. I used this to hang some drywall in my basement and was impressed when using this in tight areas. I used this with 2 inch screws and did not have any problems with jamming compared to my old one which is annoying. The screw gun as an attachment feels smooth yet rugged. Glad I added this to my growing Milwaukee products!

Great attachment, makes the drywall game do much faster

Happy with it but only down fall the bits are relatively cheap and it’s hard to find more bits

The attachment went on easy but comes off just as easy falling off the screw gun several times unexpectedly . I don’t do a lot of drywall and have a lot of Milwaukee tools, this one is the only one that disappointed,so I’m going to keep it and use it for now

This thing is great!! I read a lot of reviews beforehand and was kind of scared how it would work once it arrived.I can say a lot of the troubles are down to human error as far as jamming etc. Doing corners, it isn’t great at. But this has been a serious game changer for my work.

This lost a star from me because the manual did not state how to properly insert this. I checked the manual, could not find any videos online and of all places I found the info in someone else’s Home Depot review or Q/A . Thank you Grogan14. Otherwise I would have been lost.To insert the bit, remove the nose cone from the 2866 Drywall driver and you if you will need some pliers to remove the bit holder that is currently in there. Once that is removed you can insert the long bit. I used this on 5/8″ drywall and I will able to get consistent results time after time, once I made the proper adjustments on the attachment, with the depth adjustment. Loading the strips were simple enough. I used 1-5/8 screws and 1-1/4 and I had no issues. On the nose of the attachment you can select the proper screw size, towards the back is where you fine tune it for the proper depth. My only issue was the lack of info provided in the manual. It made no mention of removing the bit holder.
