The Milwaukee 9-Piece Bi-Metal General-Purpose HOLE DOZER Hole Saw Kit is engineered for longer life and faster cutting performance and is the Most Durable Hole Saw. The kit comes with 5 hole saw blades in 5-sizes: 1 in., 1-1/4 in., 1-1/2 in., 2 in. and 2-1/2 in. The hole saws feature RIP GUARD teeth built with more steel behind the cutting edge for added strength. The teeth give increased productivity on the job site and better hole quality. They are also backed by a limited lifetime tooth break warranty. Each HOLE DOZER is coated with a low friction, thermoset paint that provides a faster cutting speed in wood and more holes cut per battery charge. The hole saw kit comes with a Plug Jack featuring an all access slot design that allows for full access during plug removal. The Plug Jack enables access into the cup for both thick thin material removal, eliminating wasted downtime between holes. I purchssed this hole saw kit to replace my ancient, dull kit I got from a different manufacturer years ago. My kit has 5 different sizes of hole saws. Due to a basement remodel I’m undertaking – and my job as a contractor, I’ve drilled upwards of 100 holes with nearly every sized hole bit. I would say the bits are still just as sharp as the day I got them. I’ve mostly been drilling into 2x dimensional lumber, usually pine. The smaller bits have a reducer adapter to use with them. It’s very easy to assemble your hole saw bit and attach to your drill. The hard case kit includes your 5 bits, auger, and reducer adapter.

This hole saw set worked great for the installation of a mini split. Hole saw was easy to control and made a nice clean cut through the siding and interior wall. The plugs were easily removed using a screwdriver through the cutout in the side of the hole saw. I would recommend this product and the bonus bit set was a nice addition.

Decent hole saws. The ONLY “Issue” would be with the arbor adaptor. It gets so tight after use that I needed a pipe vise to unscrew it. If you don’t have that handy you’ll probably end up either bending the arbor or crushing the saw blade. Just keep that in mind when using the bigger blades. I’d recommend getting the larger size arbor and not use the adapter if I bought this again.
