I was leery of the clamping mechanism and the overall lack of tight fit… and my fears were well founded. This is probably better than most of the others (which I haven’t tried), I’m guessing. I have mostly Milwaukee hole saws, so I thought I’d go with it, regardless of how good it is. It’s okay, and the lockset fits just fine, but it’s off 1/4 inch because it bent (not slipped) when I started drilling. I’ll use it in the future, but I’ll add clamps so it stays put. I never had a problem with alignment without using the guide, but the guide actually made things worse. Next time, it gets clamped in place.

Jig walks when used on its own. I chewed up my door an the jig a bit the first time. Used some clamps and scraps of wood to secure it in place and things went fine. The design does not have enough clamping force on its own. Learn from my lessons.

This set was a real must with the the installation of all new door lock installations in my house. All our doors had a 3/4″ holes for handles instead of the standard 2 1/8″ ones so there was no place for the centering drill to guide the hole saw. This worked like a charm.

This product is made very well and very solid. I have used others that move and very flimsy. The mechanism that you have to use in each whole saw can be a pain to remove .

Definitely worth the modest cost if you’re cutting more than one door. Great quality and easy to use.

Works good better than by hand measurement but not perfect. Nice that the hole saws were included

10 bucks more than the Ryobi jig. Ten times better.

Worked exactly as it was supposed. Much better than ones I’ve used in the past. I used it on a steel door and had no problem drilling clean, even holes on multiple doors
