I have a set of the ideal carbide hole saws… and these blow those away

They do what I bought them for.

These bits are crazy good- quicker and easier than traditional hole saw, even in heavier gauge sheet metal- up to 1/8”

So easy to use

Definitely only use these on thin aluminum. Not steel. Pilot bit isn’t strong enough for steel

This is exactly what I needed to put holes in my new folding tables. It worked perfectly with my hand drill. I was able to buy a cheaper round folding table without a hole and then I purchased this tool. Now all my tables can have their own umbrella. I impressed many people. I’m ready to put holes in everything now 🙂

As a fire alarm tech these things work great when routing pipe or other types of conduit into the thin metal cans for for fire panels.

These are the machine for small KOs. They are faster an cleaner than my carbide set. A little WD-40, or some other coolant, adds to the usable life. The pilot bit is somewhat fragile, so drilling a 3/16″ pilot hole is a good idea. It is much better to use an impact driver, rather than a drill, with these. The variable torque, of the impact, is less likely to break things.

I love it when a product lives up to the manufacturer’s hype. Used this saw to drill dozens of holes through metal studs during a recent renovation. Has plenty of life left in it. I thought it was a bit expensive when I purchased it, but now I feel it was a bargain given its performance.

Great hole saws! They can be used in an impact but last longer when used in a drill.

Really good and easy to work with. Like how it works on your impact drill as well so you won’t have to be carrying a lot of tools

Great idea! These wear out much faster than normal hole saws due to the impacting of the drill. The setscrew becomes loose and no longer can be tightened enough to keep the shank from spinning on the hole saw. A quick weld extends the useable life, but is inconvenient.

Cuts accurately with minimal sharp edge.
