This set is a better deal than the other in store grout scrapers for the $. Plus you get the other 2 scraper at the price. Also Milwaukie tool is a quality tool. Better than most! As long as they keep up this quality, I will keep buying!Caution!!! You MUST hold your saw parallel to the floor!!! Or, you WILL scratch up your tiles!!!

I am using this to remove paint from a vehicle that I am going to be repainting. There are several layers of old paint and it is hard to scrape by hand even after using stripper. With the two scrapper attachments I can get about 90% of the softened paint off without hand scraping. I am using it on a Milwaukee M18 Hackzall and the reciprocating action seems to do a lot better job of removal than hand scraping. I have not used the carbide grout removal blade yet but it looks like it would do a nice job.

The Milwaukee reciprocating blades are great if you know how to treat them. Too many people think they are like a thick sheet of steel or some kind of hammer and chisel, but they are really more for light duty type of work. I think they would work well for pulling thin linoleum tiles or maybe wall tile if you are gentle, but I don’t think these will hold up to floor tile that’s been properly laid. They work well if you use them appropriately.

This Milwaukee three piece material removal set was designed to fit many brands of reciprocating saws, not just Milwaukee. It includes two putty knife style scrapers and a grit coated blade used specifically for grout removal. I found the wide blade very helpful in the removal of carpet glued down to cement. Using the grout removal blade was a bit difficult controlling kickback. The speed of the saw and direction of cut was crucial in preventing this. I believe the smaller blade would be useful in dried up thinset removal from backer board.

The grout removal attachment is worth the price. Performed better than a multi-tool attachment. It made quick work of grout between tiles spaced about 1/8″. I wouldn’t use it for a narrower grout line, though.

These tools I have used to aid in demo jobs and grout renewal. I would recommend this kit for anyone doing this task. They save time and make the job a bit easier. I use the diamond blade the most because it works really well on grout. The scaper blades will save your wrists from getting banged up because the saw vibration really aids in removing linoleum and other flooring material. I always recommend tools that aid in saving body parts.!

A great addition to my armory of sawzall weapons, these blades are nothing short of amazing. This 3 blade set is perfect for scraping loose paint, broken plaster, caulk and many other surface products needing touch up or repair. The set of 3 includes 2 flat scraping attachments and 1 abrasive blade that can be used for removing cracked or stained grout or remove old tile completely and quickly. It can also be used for clearing other materials, such as caulk, in any straight location that needs a fresh bead. This blade can also perform small sawing chores where just a nibble of material might need to be removed without having to switch to another blade.I’m finding endless uses for this set, cleaning joints or removing loose boards and paint build up that is often found behind trim boards that need replacing. This blade set is of extremely high quality and should provide many years of service if employed properly. Made of hardened steel, nickle plated for durability, they shine like the bumper of a 57 Cadillac. A nice plus, they fit into the vinyl case that came with another blade set I purchased from Milwaukee tools. One suggestion. These should only be used in a saw that is capable of variable speed both to protect the blade and the working surface. They can be aggressive and you want as much control as possible from your saw. It may be a good idea to try these blades on scrap if you’ve never used blades like them previously. Safety glasses are a must but you may want to use a full face shield. Once you’ve gotten the hang of these blades, you’ll find yourself using them often and wondering how you got by without them.
