I wanted this Milwaukee 3-piece blade set (Model #29-25-1153, Made in USA) specifically because they are for “hardwood” – and I wanted to see if the “Pro-curve” feature made a difference. If it did, it was hard to tell – but it still cut extremely well. The blades all had a slight film of oil on them, easily wiped off. These blades, unlike other Milwaukee blades, use the “Open-Loc” anchor system, which they claim is a “Universal Fit”, though the fine print states they are not compatible with the “Starlock” fittings on many tools. I have a an older model Fein tool and it fit – though there is not very much contact between the slots in the blade and the tangs of the drive. At most, there is contact with 3 “tangs” on the drive, but only two if the blade is rotated on the shaft for angled cuts (which, admittedly, isn’t common). Despite that, the blades were adequately secured with no wobble, at least for now. The kit includes an adapter for those who have Dremel oscillating tools. I cut some scrap pieces of oak and found the Pro-curve blade may have burned the wood slightly more than a similar carbide-tipped blade did, but it was still smooth and quick. At about $12 a blade these are not unreasonably priced for high-quality oscillating blades, but I wish Milwaukee had retained Starlock compatibility.

Milwaukee, a trusted name in tools has a new rotary tool saw blade that is dynamic. This 2-1/2″ blade features the Japanese style teeth for fast cutting in a variety of surfaces including VERY hard wood (see photos). Blade is slightly curved for faster and more controlled cutting. Its “Open-lok” anchor is compatible with 10 other major brands. Comes in a pack of 3 blades with an adapter for some brand models. Best of all, it’s made in USA.

Great Milwaukee quality! These are the best for cuts in tight places. You’ll never know what you’re missing by not having one of these tools in your box until you have one. And when you buy Milwaukee you get strong tools that last. Look at the teeth on this blade! It chews through wood like it was tissue paper and asks for more. No bending when the blade gets hot! No slip where it locks in. Even made in the USA, that’s quality!

The Milwaukee 2 1/2 inch High Carbon Steel Universal Fit Japanese Teeth Hardwood Cutting Oscillating Multi-Tool Blade (3 pack) is a superior hardwood cutting blade. It was used on cutting solid oak wood flooring and it was smooth cutting and easy to guide. The finished cut had no splinters at all. No prep necessary (like tape). It didn’t even burn the wood.

Milwaukee 2-1/2 in. High Carbon Steel Universal Fit Japanese Teeth Hardwood Cutting Oscillating Multi-Tool Blade (3-Pack). The universal Fit OPEN-LOK anchor for quick blade changes is great as it will fit my tool and i do not have to worry about not fitting. The triple ground Japanese teeth give a fast clean cut in hardwood. I do a lot of work with Oak and these cut very smooth. It is great for cutting out door jamb bottoms and trimming hardwood for a very smooth cut. The 1-5/8 in. plunge depth does everything I need. Being Milwaukee it is made in the USA with global material. You will be very satisficed with these blades.
