The Milwaukee #49-25-1243 is a package of 3 titanium coated, bi-metal oscillating blades that are 2 1/2” wide with a maximum of 1 5/8” depth for a nice deep plunge cut. The combination of the bi-metal body and the titanium coating provide for a longer life of the blade when cutting wood especially with nails in it. It also cleanly cuts copper, PVC, and drywall materials as well. Because of its nice wide 2 1/2” cutting width, as an example, it works great on large cutting surfaces such as fence posts, railings and electrical box openings in drywall. The blades are designed using the Milwaukee universal OPEN-LOK™ blade anchor system. As a result, these blades can be used on all 11 major brands of oscillating tools without any problem. Therefore, you do not have to buy the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) oscillating blade to receive a perfect fit and top-notch performance. Overall, these are great oscillating blades that help you make clean cuts in tight and awkward areas. Best of all, these heavy-duty professional oscillating cutting blades are made in the United States!

Fits most oscillating tools. This will sit flush and has a plunge depth of 1-5/8″ (42 mm). The titanium teeth are expected to last 15 times longer than the standard steel blades. It will cut wood with embedded nails/screws, copper pipe, PVC, and drywall. I wish I had had this blade when I needed to cut a rectangular hole in some drywall. It would have been quicker and smoother than the manual drywall saw. I tested this blade on a 1/2″ copper pipe. It cut the copper VERY quickly, but left a little bit of cleanup required on the end of the pipe. This is an acceptable trade off as compared to a pipe cutting tool in my opinion. The pipe cutter takes a few minutes, but this blade will cut it in a few seconds. This is Milwaukee part 49-25-1243.

The Milwaukee 2 1/2 inch Titanium Bi-Metal Universal Fit Wood and Metal Cutting Oscillating Multi-Tool Blade (3-pack) fits with no problem on a Rockwell multi-tool, proving it’s versatility. This blade cuts metal very well, without dulling the teeth of the blade. I would recommend it to anyone for cutting many types of materials. Excellent product!

This multi-tool blade is wide! Which sometimes is just what you need. No more multiple cuts with a 1″ blade! You can make a single cut with a 2.5″ wide blade. And just wait until you see how it cuts. Japanese saws are renown for how fast and smoth they cut, and this blade incorporates all those positive qualites! It has a universal fit, with the hole in the rear of the blade so you can get rapid blade changes. But you might not need so many blade changes with the blade’s longer life!
