These blades are super. In my case, they are the perfect blade to undercut installed molding for the retro installation of hardwood flooring, either standard 3/4″ or various laminate thicknesses. Since you are cutting into an existing floor molding you are going to hit nails (which are puttied over), you need a blade that will cut through nails. If you buy a cheap blade it will self-destruct; it will cost you more than just buying the right blade the first time. This Milwaukee blade fits the Milwaukee oscillating tool. It does, however, has a universal plate, so it fits numerous other tools (see the chart in one of my photos); for me, it fits my DeWalt oscillating tool perfectly. So they don’t rust up on you, the blades are coated with a drop or two or oil – remove it if that will affect any unsealed wood you are trimming where you don’t want anything to be absorbed prior to your first stain. In most cases, it won’t matter. Highly recommend the multi-pack; you know you’re going to need a few at least for the job or task. Have wasted too many dollars and hours on cheap blades that self-destruct when you hit a nail that a top blade is well worth its price.

These Milwaukee titanium oscillating blades are long lasting and get the job done. They stay stay sharp even cutting through nails. Most blades dull after the first nail, these stay sharp for a long time. The universal fit is very helpful, it fits bothe my Milwaukee and my DeWalt oscillating saw. Great blades, especially for sheetrock, with the wider blade it easier to cut the straight line!

This ten pack of Milwaukee bi-metal multi-material blades is a good option for those who regularly use a multi-tool. Milwaukee indicates these blades can be used for drywall, wood with nails, copper and PVC. The package contains ten blades and one adapter for use with Dremel MM45 and MM50 multi-tools. There are no instructions for how to use the adapter with the Dremel multi-tools. Milwaukee says the blades will work with the following brands of multi-tools: Milwaukee, Dewalt, Rockwell, Ridgid, Makita, Craftsman, Ryobi, Porter Cable, Dremel, Fein and Bosch. They will not work in Starlock systems. In my test scenario, I used the Dremel MM45 multi-tool. While the blade appeared to lock in without the adapter, I still used the adapter and oriented it in a way that seemed appropriate. In my testing I cut through a 2 x 4 piece of wood, a plastic sprinkler riser and 12d nails. Comparing the same cuts to brand D blades, speed of cut was very similar between the two brands. Using the Dremel MM45 at speed 3 and cutting through the plastic riser, I found it melted the plastic during the cut and left behind a lot of debris. Cutting through the 12d nail left a fairly smooth cut. Wood also cut nicely with this blade. The 2.5 inch width of the blade is great for cuts in larger pieces of material. Overall I am pleased with the product and hope it lives up to the claim of 15 times longer life.

A high quality blade that is ready for most any material. This blade fits my Dremel MM20 and can be used on Dremel MM45 and MM50 models with the adapter that is included. This wider blade is especially good for ensuring that you get a nice straight cut when wider cuts are necessary. I also like the fact that this can cut both wood and metal (and other materials) as there are sometimes hidden nails in areas you need to cut. Plus the titanium teeth will help the blade last significantly longer than normal blades.

The Milwaukee 2-1/2 inch titanium bi-metal wood and metal cutting oscillating multi-tool blade is the first blade I used that can cut thru glued flooring and the staples and stay sharp. I was able to cut away the complete floor area flush to the walls, clean the old glued and stapled floor from the joist, and trim the high spots on the new floor board and wall (making a tight fit), while using the same titanium blade. This blade saved me time while making this repair. The only problem I encountered was that the extension ears on the had a tendency to catch under the old floor after I cut thru it. I Found that cutting thru the floor on an angle prevented this.
