Fits my Dewalt oscillating tool and can be adjusted to different cutting angles. Cuts through metal relatively easily but you have to let the blade do the work. On a couple of occasions I exerted too much force on the tools and it overheated the blade, even though the cutting surface is titanium. The teeth were fine, but the blade bent slightly. It was easy to get it back straight again, but it would not have happened if I did not apply too much pressure to the tool.

Perfect for removing rotten sections of lap board siding. Cuts wood precisely and cuts nails hidden under the board above.

The packaging says Universal Fit and it fits on my Craftsman Nextech multi-tool 8-10 years old very well. The mounting end on this tool is open at back so the mounting collar only needs to be loosened and not removed to install as most do.Eleven brand names are listed on the back of the package. It says it will cut metal, wood, nails, pvc & drywall, but this blade says it is specifically for metal. I find that a little confusing but nice to know it won’t damage or dullen the blade if I used it for something else occassionally. The blade is 1 3/4″ blade which is a nice size for smaller projects and/or areas that need to be cut, and the teeth are quite sharp. It cuts through metal quite quickly without much wear on the blade or effort. I didn’t try it on any other surface…yet.I’m really pleased with this blade and will check to see what other blades Milwaulkee makes and it’s made in the U.S.A.

Metal cutting with an oscillating tool is generally isn’t my preferred method. But sometimes it is the best option available. Pictured is a 7d spiral flooring nail on which I decided to test this out. A lot of our stranded bamboo flooring was installed with these nails, so figured the odds of me hitting one while doing some floor repair were pretty good. The blade survived the test very well. The 1 3/4″ blade width gives you a pretty lengthy cut. The universal mounting style work perfectly on my oscillating tool.

I ordered the MILWAUKEE 1-3/4 IN. TITANIUM BI-METAL UNIVERSAL FIT METAL CUTTING OSCILLATING MULTI-TOOL BLADE. I installed the blade on my Dremel Oscillating tool. The blade came with a adapter that helps it to fit snuggly on my tool. I used this blade to cut through a small area of trim that was already previously installed under my kitchen counter. I was cutting through the trim because I have been installing new flooring. The trim was installed with small nails, thus the reason for using metal cutting blade. The blade worked flawlessly. I have used other brands, but prefer Milwaukee because of the quality. I will be buying this one again. I am thoroughly satisfied with this blade.
