My first use for these metal-cutting blades in my multi-tool went so perfectly that it is difficult to think of another method that would have worked as well. I needed to replace a single-gang steel electrical box with a double-gang in a minor remodeling project where I couldn’t damage the drywall beyond the cover plate. This job was wired with thinwall conduit, so I pulled the wire back a foot or so from the adjoining box, measured and marked the location of the new box and conduit cut. The multi-tool with this Milwaukee carbide blade sliced through the drywall and made a perfectly clean cut through the conduit at the right spot to allow the clamp and new box. Another couple quick cuts on the other side clipped off the nails and the new box was installed in less than 5 minutes. The possible applications for these blades are everywhere, but I can see them really get some use in remodeling and intricate cuts needed for pipe, conduit, ductwork, and cutting nails.

Probably the best you can get!You get three in the pack as well as a small adaptor piece for some Dremel models. These fit on my Dremel MM20 machine without any adaptor. They fit onto a wide range (at least eleven) of oscillating tool brands.Milwaukee have coated the carbide teeth with titanium and they have that nice golden look to the cutting edge. They don’t just look good, they cut through some steel just fine. This is ideal for cutting through screws or bolts that can no longer be extracted. There is some oil on them in the pack, so have a cloth handy if you are working in a very clean environment and can’t get any machine oil on the work material. No matter how sharp or strong, any blade will wear out, so having three in the pack is handy.Made in the USA

This Milwaukee universal fit saw-all oscillating blade (3-pack) has 1-3/8” carbide teeth blades for cutting all type of metal like pipe, bolts, screws, metal rods, etc. It is supposed to last 50x longer than most blades. I use these on my Dremel saw-all, but it fits all other makes I know of. These are exceptional quality and I highly recommend them.

This is an excellent blade designed to cut most any kind of metal. And I cut just about every kind of metal I could find laying around just for fun. And when I was done with that (also for fun) I cut a mortise and tenon joint in a pressure treated 4×4 and a 2×4. Note: the blade isn’t long enough to pass through the 4×4 so I needed to measure it and drill the corners through so I could turn it over and finish the cut from the other side.Below, you’ll find photos of the cuts made using this blade. I cut 1/2 inch copper pipe (not pictured), 5/8 inch iron bar and 1/2 inch galvanized pipe. The pipe was the toughest and it took just over a minute to cut. Next time I’m sure that will be faster but even it’s fine for demo in a tight space. The iron bar took about 40 seconds and cut clean. The copper pipe was mere seconds to cut through and the only blade damage was from the galvanized pipe yet the blade remained usable. I used these blades in a Freeman corded tool and a Ryobi non corded 18 volt tool. It’s design allows for use with most brands and includes an adapter for use with Dremel.

Fits most oscillating tools. This will sit flush and has a plunge depth of 1-1/2″ (38 mm). It is designed to cut metal, bolts, screws, cement board, plaster, PVC, and can be used for grout removal. The carbide teeth are expected to last 50 times longer than high carbon steel blades. I used this to cut a 1/4″ – 20 steel bolt. I threaded on a nut, cut the bolt, and then removed the nut with no problem. The threads were cut without damage. Using a hacksaw to cut bolts often result in treads that get damaged and unusable. This cut the bolt in a few seconds. This is Milwaukee part 49-25-1503.
