   An excellent tool attachment for window pane removal on picture windows. Saves hours of time and there’s no broken glass as you remove the inside trim.

   Milwaukee 49-25-2222 Window Sealant Cutter / Removal Multi-Tool Blade – This is the item number for a (5) blade pack…These blades will cut / remove sealant from glass and sealant / adhesive from just about any hard surface…They will probably not cut / remove sealant from softer wood surfaces, as they will cut into the wood… Milwaukee indicates these new designed blades will fit DeWalt, Rockwell, Ridgid, Makita, Craftsman, Ryobi, Porter Cable, Fein, Bosch and Dremel…These blades will not fit any multi-tool that uses the star lock blade attachment system…The package also includes a blade adapter for Dremel models MM45 and MM50…I tested these blades using a Milwaukee M18 Multi-Tool cutting / removing a bead of silicone sealant from sheet metal electrical panel and cutting / removing kitchen sealant on a stainless steel kitchen sink applied under a kitchen faucet…The blades performed as indicated, intended and expected without any problems…These blades are safer, easier and faster than using a utility knife…These blades should be an asset to any tradesman working with a variety of sealants or adhesives…

   I ordered these Milwaukee Stainless Steel Flexible Mushroom-Shaped Putty and Caulk Cutter Oscillating Multi-Tool Blades because I have a window in the shop at one of our rental houses that needs the putty replaced and this looked like a neat way to do it. Unfortunately the rental house is in Arizona and we’re in New Mexico and any trip out of state would require us to quarantine for two weeks upon return to NM, so the actual window work will have to wait until this CoVid-19 problem abates.The blades themselves are well made and provide a very gentle side-to-side motion when installed in the multi-tool that should be great for loosening old window putty without damaging the glass panes. Since the blades have an open back design, they are easy to insert in the multi-tool blade holder without having to completely remove the locking screw. The package includes five blades so there are plenty of spares should you accidentally break one. I would recommend this more for a professional glazer than for DIY folks with limited needs for such a specialized product.

   I install retrofit windows for renewal by Anderson in the beautiful state of Colorado! Just got to say I used these today and was absolutely blown away on how easy it was to deglaze a piece of glass! This is another Milwaukee high quality build thinking of window installers and glazers! Love that you guys are coming out with tools for window installation continue the good work!

   Like the other Milwaukee products that I own, this blade is the best. It fits both of my oscillating tools perfectly. It has been very useful in the remodeling work that I am doing in my house. It cuts through the old caulk without damaging the counter surfaces. Very easy to use and is lasting a long time. The shape is unique and really help to get into all the tight places.

   I just love this innovative putty and caulking cutter from Milwaukee Tools. It has a unique shape as well as design. The mushroom shape allows for cutting through larger areas of caulk or putty or smaller areas of caulk or putty. The blade is very thin which is good because it makes it flexible so that it can be manipulated on the surface and easier to control the cut even flush cuts. It fits most oscillating tools and because the blade attachment portion is open/split it will even fit on to tooless blade change systems. 5 blades come in the pack which is going to las a very long time. To make the blade last be sure to avoid hard surfaces as much as possible.

   These thin flat and flexible oscillating tool blades from Milwaukee have a universal open lok anchor mounting pattern. They are made to be compatible with most brands of oscillating tools; however they will not work with the Starlock mounting system on tools such as the Fein or Bosch with Starlock. This particular blade is designed to be used to scrape and remove sealants and adhesives such as caulking from surfaces such as glass. I found them to work best on a low speed setting while scraping because they tend to break if you bump up against hard surfaces while using aggressively.
