You can always depend on Milwaukee Brand Tools. The Wide Stainless Steel Sealant Cutting Oscillating Multi-Tool Blade (5-Piece) is no exception. Prior to using this tool I used mostly a hand tool. Mainly, because it allowed me to limit damaging or scratching. I’ve discovered the same, if not better results using this tool. I can get into tight corners with ease. I recommend using masking tape to protect very delicate surfaces. This blade has a sharp ground side edge for work in both directions. Maximum plunge depth is 2-5/8 in. The Universal Fit OPEN-LOK anchor makes easy and quick blade changes with my existing cutting tool.. I love the assurance, strength, and durability of Long Lasting Stainless Steel. The Cut-away blade body shape is designed for fast plunge cuts. This blade is super sharp and produces very clean and fast results. I’m totally pleased with the quality, design, and performance of this Milwaukee Oscillating Blade.

Since buying my first multi-tool some years back, I’ve come to rely on it to make quick work of an ever-increasing variety of tasks. Since discovering this Milwaukee Wide Stainless Steel Tapered Sealant Cutting Blade, I’m adding sealant removal to the task list. Old caulk can be a bear to scrape off a surface by hand, but this blade makes it easy and fast. The sides of the blade ae the working edges and are tapered to cut through caulk and sealant, lifting it up and off the underlying tile or stone surface. The stainless steel leaves no marks even on lightly colored tile/stone. With careful handling to make sure the blade stayed perfectly flat and using a low oscillation setting on my multitool, I was even able to remove some wayward construction adhesive from my workbench without gouging the wood surface (though I wouldn’t try this on any fine woodwork). I’m very pleased with this product – highly recommended!

Milwaukee’s multi-tool blades are the highest quality blades I have found anywhere. Multi-tools are great, but I have found the blades to be expensive with short lives. Milwaukee has addressed this problem with their multi-tool blades. Recently, I had to remove old, discolored caulk from around a bath tub. This blade cut through easily which made my day. I did add painter’s tape to the bottom of the blade to protect the tub from being scratched.

A specialty stainless steel blade that fits virtually all oscillating multi-tool brands that utilize the “open horse-shoe” type anchoring system. Included is an adapter that allows use with Dremel Tool Models MM45 & MM50.Unlike most blades for oscillating tools this one has the cutting edges on the sides of the blade only for quickly breaking the seal of caulked fixtures without doing collateral damage to adjoining surfaces.

After all these years I finally learned there was a sealant cutting blade I could use with my oscillating tool. That sure beats using a razor blade and scraper. The blade came in a handly 5 blade set. I suspect these will last for quite some time since one blade did a quick work of removing the sealant around the top of my vanity so that I can add a tile border. Milwaukee makes quality products and these blades are universal which means they work great with my Porter Cable tool. I was able to cut the plastic around the top of the blade compartment and made my own “storage case” for the remaining blades.
