Wow! Been wanting this for a long time. This works perfectly to get the caulk out from around my tub so I can re-caulk. Milwaukee doesn’t make cheap tools and these are no exception! Strong yet thin, with a sharp edge, be careful! They even fit on my cheap oscillating tool like a charm. Well made with quality in mind. I’m planning on using this with my next engine rebuild for gasket removal too!

These tapered and sharpened oscillating tool blades from Milwaukee have a universal open lok anchor mounting pattern. They are made to be compatible with most brands of oscillating tools; however they will not work with the Starlock mounting system on tools such as the Fein or Bosch with Starlock. This particular blade is designed to be used to remove sealants such as caulking. I found it to work best on a low speed setting while scraping and caulking removal.

This is so much better then using a utility knife or glass scraper blades, because that’s a pain and time consuming most of the time. I have a cheap oscillating tool and it’s the same mounting pattern. I tried it on some rigid foam board insulation, it cut okay, not as fast as I’d like but it didn’t leave little piece. See before and after pictures, does a good job. Wish it had an offset like the picture with the orange arrows so you could keep the blade flat on the surface.

I’ve tried cutting out caulking many different ways, but it always ends up being a time consuming & something painful process. These days it’s more hand fatigue than anything else. However, Milwaukee came up with this great idea to allow me to use my oscillating multi-tool to cut thru the caulking in my shower surround. This concept is pretty much bulletproof for ceramic & natural stone. However, with any kind of plastic material it will require a little more discipline; these blades will simply cut right thru the plastic along with the sealant.

Another innovative tool from Milwaukee tools. Built to fit most oscillating tools. It will even fit toolrss blade change oscillating tools because of the opening in the attachment area of this blade. It has a good reach at 3 inches and its design makes it flexible which allows the blade to be manipulated for manys cuts through putty or caulk even flush cuts. 5 blades in the pack and when used properly each blade will last a very long time. Be sure to avoid hard surfaces when cutting. I think the blade could even be re-ground to extend the life. Made from solid stainless steel. Great for accurate cuts and deeper plunge cutting too. If you ever tried to scrape off caulking by hand you’ll recognize what a time and energy saver this blade it!
