Works great. Hole is on the smaller side but is better than being too big.

Smooth, fast, sharp, clean, and easy cuts into ceiling drywall. No time spent cleaning up the edge, which is easily hidden under the rim of the can light bezel.

Not as good as some other carbide tipped hole saws

Cuts through plaster and drywall quickly and easily. This however left a hole that is too small for 5″ retrofit can. Seemed to be about 1/8″ too small.

Great for lathe and plaster.

It’s about a quarter inch too big for 5 inch recessed light kits

I bought this for its size and used it to cut a precise hole in the composite deck of my boat. I wanted to create an access port to the through the deck. This hole saw easily carved the composite fiberglass structure even though it is intended to cut through plasterboard. I have a nice neat hole that will easily accommodate the access plate.Another quality Milwaukee tool!

I purchased this product because I needed to make some holes through 1/4 inch plywood to install some recessed lights. Let me just say that it worked great, made the cut smooth, accurate and with ease. I would definitely recommend this product. The only thing is that you have to purchase an arbor separately but other than that it’s a great buy.

Used on wood ceilings. 6″ remodel cans fit perfect. Wish I would have bought one a lot sooner.Saved lots of time and leaves a much cleaner hole than a saw saz.

I cut 11 holes down through 1/4 wood panel ceiling followed by 1/2” dry wall ceiling. The drill cut through the wood and knifed through the dry wall. The original ceiling was wood paneling. It was nailed to 1×4 furring strips. In many of the hole locations drill had to cut through the furring.
