Milwaukee recessed light hole saws are manufactured using carbide grit for cutting through drywall, plaster, acoustical tile, wood and stucco with mesh. Made with a continual rim, these saws wont’ tear material and will leave a clean finish. Solid, welded construction provides accurately sized holes. Features an open back for easy plug removal.

This hole saw was used for a ceiling recessed lighting installation which was part of a master bedroom remodel. There were only four holes to punch out but each was a min. 1” thick of plaster and button board. The bit gave a sharp edge 5 3/8” hole with little effort, no wobble, and no clogging.

Used it to drill holes through 3/4” knotty pine, and another layer of 1/4” plywood behind that. Smooth cuts, worked great, only made it through 1 1/2 hole per battery, with a battery powered 18V Dewalt drill. Great value for the money, still looks perfect after 8 holes.

Hole saw worked perfectly. Drilled 4 holes in the ceiling of our master to add some recessed LED lights. Cut through 3/4″ of pine (tongue and groove) and 5/8″ of drywall. Had to knock the cut out of pine out of the hole saw in order to keep drilling into the drywall. Cut through both materials well.

The first time I used it I was unprepared for it’s gripping power on drywall and the drill nearly took my arm off. After adding a side handle to my drill it was much easier to work with and the hole was gone in seconds. Super smooth and the perfect fit for 6-inch canless recessed LED’s. Highly recommend.

Let me just say that it worked great, made the cut smooth,accurate and with ease. I would definitely recommend this product.
