I wanted to vent a portable AC out in a windowless garage but had to cut through a stucco wall that was 3/4″ thick with wire mesh. This carbide hole saw cut through the wall with ease and took about 60 seconds. The cut was very smooth and clean. It was also the perfect size opening for the Speedi-Product 5″ round galvanized wall vent with spring return damper. This wall vent was also perfectly sized for my PAC wall vent. So if you need to cut a 5 3/8″ hole in a stucco wall – you need this hole saw.

Hello, I’m writing today about the Milwaukee 6 7/8″ recessed light hole saw. This hole saw worked very well and is very easy to use. I recommend that before you completely cut the entire circle that you put a swivel screw driver in the pilot hole and turn it around a few times to make sure there is nothing in the path of the hole saw. And be prepared to catch all the sheetrock dust.

This doesn’t come with the arbor. Be prepared to spend an extra $25 if don’t already have the arbor. I am returning it because I found the whole kit (saw, arbor, AND dust shield) at another big hardware store.

It’s about a quarter inch too big for 5 inch recessed light kits

Would be better if you didn’t have to purchase the arbor separately.

Was surprised by no teeth, made a lot of dust but a very clean cut.

Smooth, fast, sharp, clean, and easy cuts into ceiling drywall. No time spent cleaning up the edge, which is easily hidden under the rim of the can light bezel.

Hole saw worked perfectly. Drilled 4 holes in the ceiling of our master to add some recessed LED lights. Cut through 3/4″ of pine (tongue and groove) and 5/8″ of drywall. Had to knock the cut out of pine out of the hole saw in order to keep drilling into the drywall. Cut through both materials well.

Used it to drill holes through 3/4” knotty pine, and another layer of 1/4” plywood behind that. Smooth cuts, worked great, only made it through 1 1/2 hole per battery, with a battery powered 18V Dewalt drill. Great value for the money, still looks perfect after 8 holes.
