Used on wood ceilings. 6″ remodel cans fit perfect. Wish I would have bought one a lot sooner.Saved lots of time and leaves a much cleaner hole than a saw saz.

Worked wonderfully to cut drywall holes for canned lights. Much easier to control than regular hole saw.Only used on eight holes so cannot comment on longevity but seems pretty quality.

Perfectly smooth holes. Recessed lights fit perfect

Cuts through plaster and drywall quickly and easily. This however left a hole that is too small for 5″ retrofit can. Seemed to be about 1/8″ too small.

worked very well

I think it will work great on sheetrock and fiberglass. I thought I was going to be drilling through fiberglass in my boat but turns out it was actually 3/16″ aluminum covered by carpet. The bits made it through for the two speaker holes I needed but most of the carbide grit was worn off and I trashed the bit. Looks like there are also teeth under the carbide so I may get more use out of it. It’s a quality heavy duty bit for what is intended for.
